Here are 2 walls placed next to each other – that's quite interesting. I need to check if that's possible...
Well, of course, not one on top of the other, but side by side:)
I checked. The damage is DOUBLE.
New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?

Okay, let's talk about skills. Here's what I think should be absolutely essential.
First, Earth magic. That's a must-have.
Tactics! Water magic. Because both the Moon faction and the Necropolis have spells and units that need to be countered with the "Expert Forgetfulness" skill.
For the Necropolis (in my opinion), resistance is needed. It turns out that resistance doesn't appear for Elementals (what a fool I was!).
The last skill for the Moon faction was Magic, so I decided to keep it.
Is there any progress on your challenging map? I'm curious about the continuation. Or have you given up?
I remember the map presenting itself as a challenge. I'm wondering how long people will have the nerves to play it. :)
What scares me is this. There are timings calculated for a week. I saw them. I went through them.
But there are also timings for 2 months. I wonder if they are also calculated to coincide with the peak?:)
If so, that's a big deal!
Thank you for the comments and the walkthrough description.
Based on my experience with similar maps where enemies come from everywhere, these are usually designed for VERY fast progress and killing the enemy right in the first encounter. That is, you follow the route and immediately kill everything you come across. Essentially, it's a sprint-like walkthrough. If you get delayed somewhere and don't meet the timing, you're doomed because heroes with stats and armies appear that you can no longer defeat.
With this type of walkthrough, the computer is also distracted by various resources, gold, freebies, and it fights neutrals, while we can bypass where necessary. As soon as the locations become empty, the enemies have nothing left to do but attack our heroes, and there is nowhere to run.
For this map with timings, it is advisable to use Prospector and immediately create a map-route of movement in columns (where each hero should go), and proceed from that. Also, write down on a piece of paper who should go where for treasures in huts (Dragon for the town portal, etc.). With such a plan for the map, I think it can be completed and you can succeed everywhere. I am almost certain that the author tested it and planned a blitzkrieg across the locations.
Often, a specific set of troops is used for fast progress (for example, only Archdevils with Force Field against ANY superior forces, the main thing is to have enough mana, and if possible, take mages to reduce the casting cost).
On your map, I think you can take the town portal - and that's almost a victory. Also, as far as I can see, there is one or two islands where you can fortify and isolate yourself from enemies (although some know how to walk on water).
In general, the map is intriguing and inviting! But personally, I am more afraid of the TIME in real life that will be spent on completing it :)
What month/week are you in, and how many castles are there? And how much time in real life have you spent on this map? :)
Has anyone from the forum played this map yet? It was published just 5 days ago, and the map isn't very difficult, so it should appeal to a fairly wide audience.
There's active discussion in the comments. It's just a shame that, judging by the comments, many people are still playing similar maps in HotA or even in WoG:smile35:
Started playing, no difficulties so far, playing as the Fortress of Kreg. I have 2 stacks of ranged Cyclops and Orcs + melee bears, birds as support. The rest of the units are left in the castles. For the first few months, we are developing and fighting neutrals, soon I will reach the Swamp faction. So far, the map is easy, a relaxing one, so to speak.
I don't understand why the author added huge empty locations in the Dungeon in To Tame a Land. It looks crude.
As for jokes with interesting details, there’s this kind of map that's like a joke:here :D
Yes, it's designed for fans of wayfarer and lord of war :)
(To Tame a Land)
I also downloaded it, but haven't played it yet: I've been away from the game lately. When I get back into it, I'll give it a try. The discussion shows that the map, at the very least, is worth checking out, despite the depressing Dungeon (it's just that some places are densely populated, and others are empty).
