I agree with Dyrman, if we give their specialties to new heroes, then we should definitely get rid of all the old duplicates!!! We don't even need to keep them with any additions. Regarding Biara. One of the easiest ways to start, at least, is to increase her stats only on the map. In the future, she could even get a new model.
And what about Saint Isabel - she should be thrown into the dustbin of history)))
Yes, Ornella - the necromancer should also stay.
You just can't throw away the lore. Even Haven should have alternatives; the red heroes are proof of that. They are an alternative government led by their own queen.
Added 1 minute ago At least leave the duplicates in NHF_E. They complement the game and the lore.
No one is throwing away the lore or changing it – they've simply introduced a restriction on the hero list to avoid duplicates (three Biaras – seriously??? Do you want three Biaras??? Personally, I'm against it). This is even more realistic, in my opinion.
... И древний лес, роскошен и печален, Блистает там воздушностью прогалин. Но между кедров, полных тишиной, Расщелина по склону ниспадала. О, никогда под бледною луной Так пышен не был тот уют лесной...

But why are duplicates really needed? The specialists of these "heroes" will be replaced with new ones; the models have long been used for other characters based on these. So, we aren't losing anything, except perhaps the battle between Railag and Agrail:smile52: It does look ugly, though. And all the campaign heroes will remain. The only thing we can argue about is who to keep. But those who changed their appearance should naturally remain in their original form. Only Kolyan and Ornella remain. I suggest leaving both as Necromancers.
In my opinion, it would be better to make Ornella a Necromancer (a conscious choice, as she died as a devoted fanatic of Aschi-spider-lady), and Nicholas a human (Nicholas as a vampire is a semi-living abomination, controlled by Marcellus).
Hello! I have an idea regarding hero perks (to eliminate the large number of "graduates" and other similar issues... 1) (if you don't mind, I'll use humans as an example) Not all units have a hero. For example, there isn't one for monks, angels... How about creating a hero for each unit? Also, Iris has a "helper" - a hero that provides a bonus to griffons. Why not create such a helper for each hero? 2) The Order has a hero that provides bonuses for killing dragons to obtain artifacts. Could it be possible to make it so that for each type of dragon killed in battle, the units receive +2 to defense and attack? 3) Archangel heroes could have bonuses in their specialization that apply to all units of "good" races. 4) In EWA, there are new units (for example, War Leaders and Landsknechts - based on armored infantry and zealots). I asked the developer, and hero perks also apply to them (for example, Laslo applies to armored infantry and zealots, and since War Leaders and Landsknechts are created from them, the bonuses also apply to them). Since you are doing a rework, will the perks work for the new units? 5) How about adding one "Great Warlord" hero to each faction? That is, they would have a bonus that applies to all units of their race. However, it would cost 850 gold per day from the treasury. 6) "Good" races are still connected to each other; why not add some heroes who serve other factions? For example, there is an orc among the humans (even though the Horde is considered evil)

You are right, I can't argue with that. It's a pity about Kolya-Vampire, I need to think about who to make him...

Regarding these hero clones with identical names, everything has already been decided in version 0.85. And yes, Ornella is a Necromancer there, and Nicholas is a Human. ;)
And you guys are arguing about it...
Hello! I have an idea regarding perks for heroes (in order to eliminate a bunch of "graduates" and others...).
This mod doesn't address that. РомаH
1) (if you allow, I will explain using humans as an example) Not all units have a hero. That is, there isn't one for monks, angels, for example... What about making a hero for each unit? Also, Iris has a "helper" - a hero that provides a bonus to griffons. Why not make such a helper for each hero?
Sometimes, when something is missing, it's also normal when something exists. РомаH
2) The Order has a hero that provides bonuses for killing dragons to obtain artifacts. Could it be implemented so that for each type of dragon in battle against the enemy, units receive +2 to defense and attack?
Very rarely. I don't see the point. РомаH
3) Archangel heroes could have bonuses in their specialization for all units of "good" factions.
Unclear. РомаH
4) EWA has new units (for example, Warlords and Landsknechts - based on armored infantry and zealots). I asked the developer - do hero perks also apply to them (for example, Laszlo applies to armored infantry and zealots, since warlords and landsknechts are made from them, the bonuses also apply to them). Since you are reworking it, will the perks for the new units work?
in NCF (which is included in the EWA build), there are different creatures. It will not apply to existing ones. РомаH
5) What about adding one hero, "Great Warlord," so that they would have a bonus for all units of their faction? However, it would take 850 gold per day from the treasury.
Be more specific. РомаH
6) "Good" factions are still connected to each other, why not add some heroes serving other factions? For example, there is an orc among humans (although the horde is considered evil).
Not immediately. There should be a distinction between factions.
The issue regarding these hero clones with identical names has already been resolved in version 0.85. And yes, Ornella is a Necromancer there, while Nicholas is a Human. ;) People are arguing about it...
Kolyan remains a Necromancer, at least in this version, although perhaps only for me. We could create a decent Giovanni based on him!
New one. Of course, her hairstyle is quite elaborate here, so I made it simpler, with two buns.)))

Why did all the female heroes in Heroes 7 end up wearing revealing outfits? (This is usually done in other games to attract teenagers, but it's considered inappropriate.) More importantly, they don't look like that on the icons. For example, Ashbet's icon is consistent with the Heroes 7 style. She has normal clothes and shoulder pads.
