Personally, I don't. Ser9K used to share his thoughts on this, but I don't know how he feels about it now.

Where can I find the maps for the 2010 mapmaking contest, and are they even still available? The link in the thread goes to depostifiles, which says the file has been deleted. Some maps are already on the forum, but unfortunately, not all of them.

Lately, I've been wondering if we're ready for a new contest. We currently have a lot of people actively and successfully involved in mapmaking. There's also a chance to attract some veterans, I think. But there's also a problem: in any case, besides our mapmakers, there aren't really any other active members at the moment... At least, that's the case on the Russian internet. I don't know how it is abroad. It seems like people are making maps, but I haven't seen them organized anywhere. However, it would be nice to make the contest international, if possible. What do you think?

Wow, I didn't even expect you to respond. Anyway, is this your final decision? After all, if we're talking about bringing back the old-timers, you're probably the most experienced one left on the forum. Unless, of course, we also include Lux. That would be a real battle of generations!

No. I haven't decided yet. It will take some time to remember everything. And most importantly, I need a strong desire. And I don't know if that will appear or not. So, I won't make any promises.

That would be great. It would be awesome to gather at least six to eight people from the Russian-speaking internet community and add some foreign mapmakers to the mix.
