Comrades, I've been tinkering a bit and came up with this. Don't throw too many tomatoes, it's my debut, so to speak. I need your help with balance tweaks (especially regarding newspaper display). Thanks! :)

'No,' says the man in the Vatican, 'it belongs to God.' 'No,' says the man in Moscow, 'it belongs to everyone.' I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. Andrew Ryan

Founder of Rapture and head of Ryan Industries.

Passives:

At the Very Top. Upon the first execution attempt, cancels the execution, reveals his own username and the first status of the person who first voted against him.

Defensive Turret. Blocks one kill attempt, kills the attacker.

NA.

1) Creator's Authority – learns any status of a chosen target.

Ult. No Gods or Kings – blocks all NA. (Works if he is the last one in his team or Jack has become a Splicer).

Human\Evil

Brigid Tenenbaum

A German geneticist. She was the first to notice the unique properties of ADAM and, with the help of Frank Fontaine, managed to establish its mass production.

Passives:

Creator of the Little Sisters – receives an extra clue on the murder of a Little Sister.

NA.

1) Atonement of Sins – heals the target; if it's a mutant, learns its second status.

Human\Good

Jack Ryan

Jack was the illegitimate son of city leader Andrew Ryan and his mistress.

Passives:

Ace in the Hole. If Atlas receives 3 "Code Pieces", he becomes evil and becomes a Splicer.

Gene Modifications. On the first status check, shows the opposite status.

NA.

1) Wrench. Protects a target.

2) Would You Kindly – kills the target, ignores block and healing. (Works if "Ace in the Hole" is active).

Mutant\Good

Yi Suchong

Yi Suchong was the leading geneticist in Rapture.

Passives:

Creator of the Big Daddies – receives an extra clue on the murder of a Big Daddy.

Creator of Plasmids – blocks the first ADAM Overdose targeted at himself.

NA.

1) Mental Control – sets the target's NA to be first or last in the queue.

Ult. Code Yellow. Kills Jack (if Jack is the last one on his team and a Splicer).

Human\Evil

Jasmine Jolene

A stripper in the "Eve's Garden" at Fort Frolic and was Andrew Ryan's mistress.

Passives:

Mother's Heart – receives an extra clue on the murder of Jack.

NA:

1) Passionate Night - learns any status of a chosen target.

Human\Good

Booker DeWitt

Booker is a 38-year-old private investigator. Elizabeth's father.

Passives:

Experienced Detective – receives an extra clue on the murder of a human.

NA:

1) Trying to Forget – blocks all NA targeted at himself; leaves a clue in the newspaper if he blocked a kill.

2) I Don't Trust You - blocks a target.

Human\Evil

Elizabeth

A twenty-year-old girl who has been imprisoned in a tower since infancy. She is guarded by Songbird, a robotic winged creature who became her only friend. Elizabeth possesses various supernatural and non-supernatural abilities.

NA:

1) Tear – learns a random status of a target; if the target is killed, receives an extra clue.

Ult. A Million Doors – cancels a player's execution.

Mutant\Good

Songbird

A forty-foot-tall winged creature, a cyborg, Elizabeth's guardian; to the citizens of Colombia, he is a symbol of their city.

Passives:

Can't Swim - dies at the beginning of the 4th night.

Connection - knows who Elizabeth is from the very start.

Vengeful Machine - if Elizabeth is killed:

on the 1st night - learns the killer's first status

on the 2nd night - learns the killer's second status

on the 3rd night - learns both of the killer's statuses

Becomes Evil.

NA.

1) Trying to Escape - redirects the target's NA to himself.

2) Songbird's Flight - blocks the target if it's human, or kills it if it's a mutant.

Splicers

Atlas

A resident of Rapture who was the first to contact Jack by radio when he arrived in the city.

Passives:

True Form. When he is the last one on his team or Andrew Ryan dies, becomes an evil mutant named Frank Fontaine.

Smuggler Network. Cannot be executed on the first attempt.

NA.

1) Ace in the Hole – kills the target; if the target was good, receives a "Code Piece". After collecting three pieces, gains control over Jack.

2) ADAM Overdose – fire attack (kills the target, leaves no clues) or ice attack (blocks the target's NA) or electricity attack (delays the target's NA to the next night). (Works if "True Form" is active).

Human\Good

Dr. Steinman

A high-class plastic surgeon who, driven mad by ADAM abuse, began to carve up human bodies in an attempt to create a "Masterpiece", often resulting in the patient's death.

NA.

1) Create a "Masterpiece" - learns the target's second status, but if the target was healed or blocked, kills the target instead.

Mutant\Evil

Julie Langford

A brilliant botanist. In Rapture, she created a garden, Arcadia, with unique trees that provide oxygen for the entire city.

Passives:

Garden of Arcadia - 3 nights after her death, everyone dies.

NA.

1) Lazarus Vector - changes the target's first or second status to the opposite (evil to good, mutant to human, and vice versa).

2) Last Resort – activates "Garden of Arcadia" as if she had died. Kills the target, ignores blocks, leaves no clues. (Works if she is alone on the team).

Mutant\Good

Sander Cohen

Head of Fort Frolic. Before Rapture descended into chaos, Cohen was a popular figure in the city. He owned an art gallery and produced theatrical performances.

Passives:

Quadriptych – after the 4th mutant dies in the game, he can use all his NA in one night.

NA.

1) Performance – redirects the target's NA to a chosen character.

2) Sketch - chooses a target, learns the second status of whoever the target's NA was aimed at.

3) Dance - chooses two targets, swaps their NA targets (the actions themselves also swap). (Works if "Quadriptych" is active

Human\Evil

The Forgotten

Big Daddy

Genetically modified and cyborgized human beings, created from human skin and organs transplanted directly into heavy armored diving suits as a result of the "Protector" program.

Passives:

"Protector" Program. When the Little Sister dies, becomes evil.

Mr. Bubbles. Blocks the first kill attempt on the Little Sister.

Tough Suit. Cannot be executed on the first attempt.

NA.

1) Always on Guard – protects a target. If the target is the Little Sister, kills the attacker.

2) Drill – kills the target, leaves an extra clue in the newspaper. (Works if the "Protector" Program is active).

Ult. Everyone Drowns. Kills 1 random character from "Rapture" and 1 from "Splicers". Ignores everything.

Mutant\Good

Little Sister

Genetically modified pre-pubescent girls created to collect ADAM from the corpses of the dead ("Angels", as they call them) using a retractable needle. They consume the resulting fluid so that the mollusk contained in each girl's abdomen can synthesize a larger amount of ADAM.

NA.

1) ADAM Harvest – learns the target's first status; if the target is killed, refreshes the Big Daddy's "Mr. Bubbles" ability.

2) Hide in Ventilation – blocks the first tracking or kill attempt made against her. (Works if the Big Daddy is dead).

Some notes:

Tracking – status check.

Block – cancels the target's first NA.

Protecting a target – redirects ALL lethal NA to self.

First come, first served. If multiple checks fly into Jack's "Gene Modification", it will only work on the first one in queue order. This works the same for similar situations.

"Splicers" can communicate with each other outside the game.

"The Forgotten" can communicate with each other outside the game.

"Ult" can be used once per game.

Per night, you can use either "Ult" or "NA".

Victory Conditions:
1) Rapture wins if Splicers are dead. Only 1 Forgotten is alive or all are dead.
2) Splicers win if Rapture is dead. Only 1 Forgotten is alive or all are dead.
3) The Forgotten win if Rapture is dead and Splicers are dead.
