I've also been playing T2 recently, but not as successfully. I agree about the cards: Apostle of Silence is quite an unpleasant thing in the arena, just like Black Knight in Haesike. But if the latter is rare and you don't really expect it, you should now try to play around the Apostle. Orthrus is almost a joke price in Necromancy for such an effect, and Gilnelez is an excellent finisher, if only I were offered it.
Also, I laughed at the Countersolar Assassin in story mode, who literally killed himself according to the plot: with his 12 HP, he played Calamity Bringer, which completely cleared my board, after which (I have 17 HP, he has 5) he evolved.
I got Adramelech from a legendary pack. Well, it's not bad.
Congratulations, Sukagames, you’ve broken the meta again. Welcome to Wonderland Dreams 2.0. In the previous meta, at least it was somewhat fair – Blood was dominating unlimited and sucking in the rotation, but here we have the same faces in both formats. Ugh. And, as expected, nerfing Greymory didn’t change anything.
I've put together a Mystery rune here (it wasn't for nothing that two Mysteries were gathering dust for half a year). After the boost-gameplay, which I'd already grown tired of, it's like a breath of fresh air. Although it is still a bit weaker. It's actually funny that I have almost no decent rotational deck for any other class right now (except maybe some underpowered tank and lions on Haven), but for the rune, I have two whole ones. It feels like the meta at sygames is increasingly turning into a competition of "whose 'win the game' button is cheaper." Lindworm before, and now Mystery—their button costs 10. Chimera beats them at 9. Previously, they were all punished by Portal, which pressed Orchid on turn 8, or some same old Jabberwock for 8, which pushed out Lindworm. And now the mouse has emerged, who takes them all down a turn earlier. Shadow is an exception—a combo around 10, but in practice usually crushes them sooner.
Also, has anyone tried playing through Kazakus Omen Number One? To me, it seems like a very cool solution for fools like me who just can't manage to save up for a second Celia / third Insect Lord / third Philena / etc. Although it would be preferable to have three of him in the deck, lol.
I have exactly zero of them and I don't plan on crafting any yet. But I've encountered such players many times and had mixed success battling them.
Right now, my priority is to finish building my sword deck. I need to gather about 3-5 more gems. Then, I want to upgrade my omen portal; I really want to play with it. Overall, I've managed to assemble more or less decent decks for each class in the rotation. I won't even mention unlimited; I already had everything great there, and now it's even better – I tried playing with the mouse, and on average, it generates twice as many pings by its turn compared to the rotation.
Old-timers of Heroes, explain how that pirate with a charge of 1 (or whatever he had) was broken. I never understood it.
It's too strong if he comes out on the first turn along with another pirate. True, in my opinion, by the time of the nerf, it was already irrelevant, but on the other hand, I had almost stopped following the game by then, so I might be wrong.
Added after 8 minutes Almost forgot the most important thing - it's minus one card from your deck.
Where do we go? Where do we end up when we save the world?
Well, firstly, it was good both for control and for aggro. Against control, which needs to be killed as quickly as possible, it deals an extra 1-2 damage to the face and, perhaps even more importantly, removes 1-2 cards from the opponent's deck and increases the chance of drawing a good card. Against aggro, it's a free trade. The opponent plays two 1/1 cats on turn one, and you respond with "Cache on Takeoff," Patches comes out, you take out one cat with Patches and the other with your hand, and you might even have a coin to play a second pirate. Secondly, it was strong not so much on its own, but in combination with other cards. This includes the same Cache, and the 3/2 buccaneer, which was buffed by cheap weapons. A year ago, Patches wasn't scary in itself, but the corridor horror 5/5 before the nerf was terrifying, and it was very easy to reduce its cost to zero with Patches.
I agree that when they nerfed the buccaneer, the axe, and other things, Patches also lost some of its power. But still, people tried to play it in Hunter, Zookeeper, and even Mage (!), which has zero synergy with pirates, which says something.
Well, it’s hard to compare them to Alice, but there’s something similar. In the sense that access to both was available to all classes, but some could implement the mechanic perfectly, while others used it out of desperation.
In terms of playstyle, I would rather compare it to a mid-range shaman during its dominance. Or a murloc paladin.

By the way, in Hearthstone, there is a very similar card to Corridor Horror – Luxglaive Bale for the Sylvan faction. This is one of the reasons why aggro Sylvan is still viable, in my opinion.
