I wanted to create maps for Wanderland, but then I remembered that I see and play them constantly in the online version anyway...

At least the illness had some benefit – I waited for the new expansion to be released. I haven't opened the packs yet, but I easily defeated three elite mobs. Against Sylvan and Rune, the aggressive melee build worked well, but I had to struggle against Stronghold; it has a very strong mid-game variant and almost always has a perfect curve. Of course, I won with a powerful mid-game Shadow. I'm going to sleep now; tomorrow I'll finish off the mobs and complete the story mode with Eris, and then I'll report on what I got.

Opened 87 packs, here's what I got in the starting set of rares:



And from the legendary pack for completing the campaign, I got an Insect Lord. That was a good pull, now I have 3 of them.

30 packs – 7 legendaries, didn’t really read them, and then I got too lazy to continue. I was thinking of putting the remaining 12,000 into the Spinarium fund = flushing them down the toilet on the most garbage pack in history since Wonderland, but today I thought about it and came to the conclusion that even if it does appear, it won’t bring any joy and won’t rekindle my interest. I’ll wait a couple of weeks for the meta to settle, and if there’s anything interesting and not as garbage as it is now, I might try playing.

Out of 13 packs, I only got the animated Omen of One.

4 legendaries from 30 packs. Two runic ones, a monster from swordcraft (they gave an avatar - at least I figured out where its head is) and Reno Jackson Meyerbane. Kind of meh. The game is hinting at runic.

A second creation seer dropped, tried playing through her. The ladder consists entirely of bloodcrafts, who either kill you on turn 7, or they can't get in and die to your chimera on the 9th. In such a meta, an imba-beast that you only bring out on that same 9th turn under the most ideal circumstances is, of course, very much needed (not).

I still don't play in the ladder. Right now, it's a chaotic mess and a bloodbath. Especially in the unranked mode, where mid-range Shadow and OTK decks have received a ton of overpowered cards.

This guy is really annoying me. Today, I got two copies of him in a pack. Fine, I'll play Blood, I'll play!
I don't really feel like playing, I haven't had a single PvP match with the expansion. In the rotation, it's clear what I'm waiting for – tier lists and what to craft, but in Unlimited, I'm just stuck.

I haven't even launched it since then. I'm thinking – maybe we shouldn't wait two weeks, but six, and release it together with the mini-pack.

Finally, I played my last Tier 2 ticket. It feels a bit strange not having any left; I got used to always having a few... And I played it well, earning a solid 5 out of 5, and I also completed all the daily quests at the same time. I was lucky with the draft – the legendary cards I picked made the deck truly dangerous. It turns out that the Shadow faction has some good cards for Tier 2. Awakening Orpheus isn't that difficult, although I still took too many of them... I was skeptical about the Apostle of Silence, but it turned out that he always found a use and was effective. And Cerberus, at the very least, won one game single-handedly. But that's not the most important thing... It's good when your Tier 2 deck has a win condition, but when there's a tutorial for it, that's just great! I'm glad I didn't have to draft any Gigas, otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to reliably pull Lyria Gilnelez from the deck.
