Lucius was born into a wealthy family in the city of Vitis (a province would later be named after this city). His mother held an important administrative post in the hierarchy of the Rex Ventorum corporation, and his father owned a significant plot of land in the east of the country, where under his leadership a large wine industry flourished, whose products were famous for their incomparable quality and excellent taste; however, the same could not be said about the prices – these drinks were purchased only by wealthy people.
From early childhood, the future consul proved himself to be a man of great intelligence and strong will. Lucius absorbed information very easily (and thanks to his parents' wealth had the best education), he was primarily interested in natural and formal sciences, but in addition to this, linguistics as well (by now he speaks several languages fluently).
