Explain to me, someone who isn't familiar with this, why the song of fire and ice necessarily leads to the Lannisters, and not the Starks?
In my opinion, both clues are absurd. In one, everything is too intertwined and obvious; it's unlikely they would take a year from one date and the day and month from another. I already wrote about the second one.
