It's hard to understand which clue refers to whom, unfortunately, as they haven't been explicitly linked.

I guess we need to read the newspaper more carefully; I thought it hinted at the roles. Otherwise, it's all about the clues... even if we guess correctly, if the Mafia planted a clue on an innocent player, which would be quite logical, then there's a 50% chance of executing an innocent.
