Then the killer arrives and kills the "cured" player. The block will only be "unsuccessful" if the player wasn't needed (was the target of an off-role?). In general, normal people call the result a success, not the fact of the attempt: if the goal wasn't achieved due to the block, it's a success; if it was achieved (regardless of whether it was due to immunity to blocks, acceleration, or slowing down the blocker), it's not! And also, I'm not "twisting" things about Sesame. If Koshu was shown as blocked at the same time as all the actions of the Mafia were shown as successful, then she can't be Mafia! If you insist that she can be, then either explain which one she is (there are only three, and they all completed their actions) or admit that you're Mafia right away....
