I don't know how this mod affects the AI's intelligence, but its bugs are obvious even without looking closely. The misaligned interface is one of them. In addition, the game becomes much less stable, and the chance of it crashing increases. Also, this mod doesn't include all the new features of version 3.1, including some scripted functions, which may create problems when playing certain maps that require version 3.1.
