Couldn't their pride handle the criticism?

I welcome criticism, but there are critics who only criticize, and then there are those who will take a real-life example and show how something should be done. Or at least point out specific phrases that need to be changed, tweaked, or suggest creating a more interesting story, etc. I'm ready to abandon this setting in favor of something more interesting, fun, something that will help students during exam season, rather than something that will tire them out even more.
