Awakening of Evil

I wandered around on Veteran difficulty for 4.5 months and eventually, grumbling, reached the blue outpost. I went into the tavern and swore – where am I supposed to get these resources? I captured the mines and received a hint about the human castle. But I still don't understand where to find the tear. In my opinion, the hints should be more specific and clearer. Besides, the elf monster is looming. Overall, it's a strange map; it feels more like a random exploration. Although, it's clear that it was made with love.
