Nah, I'm currently trying to defeat a "fascist" with minimal losses. He has 70 Lava Golems + Flame Priests. Plus, they cast Elemental Immunity, so these 3 stacks are completely immune to magic. The rest are at the mercy of fate. Chain Lightning is failing; it starts hitting his own units. And Fireball usually targets the rest, plus Gnomish Luck is in play. It's quite entertaining, actually. But the biggest problem is the warlords in the garrisons. They walk up to the hero and consistently destroy a stack with magic. If there are a lot of them, they'll target them. If there are few, they'll target the Cerberuses or Horned Beasts. I entered a garrison with a stack of 600 Horned Beasts, meaning I need to recruit a bunch of Imps again. When they encounter the hero, they'll be wiped out again, meaning I'll have to sacrifice a strong stack for the garrison, which is not a good option.
I always cast Tempt or Subdue on the enemy's Tanu, and from the second turn, I try to finish him off. Or Blind. In any case, you need to "disable" the archers before they can attack. But this only makes sense if you have a decent army.

I'm wondering if the AI always targets Imps first. What if I put a small stack of Imps in front, and keep the rest in reserve? Will the warlords waste their charges on them, or will they be smarter?
