Ice and Fire

I'm playing the first version on "Hero" difficulty. Patiently, constantly replaying and remembering the author until his ears turn red :), I've only managed to get Alastor so far. And that's thanks to "Leadership," which helped me recruit a squad of 71 succubi. The enthusiasm from Sigrif's special ability faded immediately when I saw the neutral units. I don't even know if it's worth continuing on this difficulty. My patience and fighting spirit are running out. I need a break and a beer :)

About a month. The 2nd caravan arrived with 2 devils.

The gnome's army isn't particularly large. 9 dragons, 30 jarls, 150 bears, etc.
That's nothing. What's annoying is that he has 30 magic power with upgraded Chaos and Pyromancy. This fascist casts fireballs + as a bonus, he also adds 3 turns of burning. As a result, the cherubs and unicorns burn down to 0. The jarls take out the imps (2400 damage comes from the cast). In the end, less than a hundred pikemen survive out of 322. And you can't storm the castle or garrison with a hundred pikemen.

Before the 2nd caravan, the hero was weaker (3 times weaker), but I also had a smaller army – the same thing happened, about a hundred and a half pikemen and all the imps died. In the end, there were 70 cherubs and 17 succubi left (I didn't put them in the battle – the AI targets them with magic first). Again, this isn't the best option – it's unlikely that the garrison could take them.
