What's the point of libraries and other things in the first part, which are well-guarded, if in the first part the hero is:


And in the second part, he becomes like this:


You said that stats are saved... Only a little magic power was saved, and that's it. And ballistics is still in the additional perks.
What was the point of running around the hills to avoid the computer?? In the screenshot, the hero is when the computer finally caught up with me. I don't understand why it caught me; it didn't kill even 10% of my army.

And on the first map, ballistics is great. It effectively eliminates mobs.

Well, firstly, all the hero's artifacts are removed - that's a minus.
Secondly, with each lost skill, the hero loses 1 stat - another minus.
Thirdly, the hero loses 75% of his stats so that at the start of the second part, he is not too developed, and so that he is on par with the other dwarf heroes who start the game from scratch.

As a result, the stats turned out as in the screenshot. If he hadn't run around the hills, the hero would have had everything at 1 or 0. That's the point. At least there is some kind of foundation.

And with ballistics, it was just "lucky".

By the way, in the second version, I reduced the threshold for stat reduction. If necessary, I can post the formula by which the calculation is performed)
