I played this map back when it was called "Attack on the Traitors," or at least, that was the name at the time, and there wasn't a newer version available. The beginning was quite challenging, mainly because the saves wouldn't load. But that's all trivial: as soon as I lowered the graphics quality, the saves started loading with a probability of about 60%! :smile01:
The plot was engaging, especially the quests were well-done. Some objects had different functionalities, so I had to wander around the portals a bit. But overall, there weren't any problems with the monsters, and fortunately, the particularly strong ones asked for resources to pass.
Overall, the design is quite good. Despite the huge empty spaces, many "zones" are beautifully made, for example, the giant lake in the center of the map.
Unfortunately, I didn't listen to the wise advice of the all-powerful map creator, and when I entered the Dungeon, I found huge armies of Tower and Demon creatures there. But despite the advantage of the latter, I didn't give in to the traitors' persuasion and, with some effort, defeated them.
I have no doubt that all the shortcomings mentioned in this review have long been fixed in the current version of the map, and perhaps I will spend another day playing it again. :)
Yes, a lot has changed since then. It's a pity that the map size turned out that way; everything could have been made much more compact. But every experience is valuable. Thank you for the pleasant feedback
