I played this map. The design and storyline are excellent. :smile20:
The balance is good. I only didn't like the hidden objects. I had to go back a second time because of them.
On the very first turn, an ally was killed. Is that how it's supposed to be?
After exploring my lands, I sailed up the river. There, I captured Greystone and started saving up 50,000 for "roadworks." Along the way, I freed Rutger. After accumulating 726 archers, 208 priests, 20 angels, and 185 elven scouts (who joined me), I headed to the sandy island with the prison. To my surprise, the first attempt to take the huge infernal garrison in the Dungeon was successful, thanks to the wall of swords. I even have a recording of the battle, but I don't see the point in posting it.
Orlando sat in his lair and didn't come out until the end. The first time, I couldn't defeat him, but after gathering all my troops (1K archers, 500 griffins, 300 priests, 150 knights, 60 angels), I flew in and defeated him quickly.
Rutger dealt with Giovanni.
I didn't find the Tear of Ashi and, as a result, didn't even have enough money to buy knights, let alone train them.
I am grateful to the author for the map. I wish him success in this field in the future.
