Unity of the Elements

I didn't solve any of the riddles. They solved themselves. The Sphinx gave me a riddle, but half of the riddle's text was obscured by a message box, so I didn't understand what it was about, and suddenly, bam, the hero solves it all on his own, and I just click OK. Where was that mage standing who gives the riddles?
