Current questions and answers regarding the map editor.

I have a question that might have already been asked somewhere. I don't understand what's happening with the editor. It was buggy before, especially when writing scripts, but now it's even worse; it doesn't let me do anything properly. Even when I haven't added much to the map yet, or inserted any scripts, after a decent amount of work, a message pops up saying something like "blah blah blah... TERMINATED..." And that's it; everything was for nothing. Maybe it's easier to download a different editor, but I'm curious why this is happening. How can I avoid these kinds of glitches, or is the editor just inherently like this? I'm not even going to mention the 3.1 Gold edition editor, after which nothing works at all...
