Yeah... all my theories were shattered overnight. Well, that's not uncommon in the Mafia.
So, I'll tell you everything in order.
Yesterday, I clearly identified Arandor as a Mafia member based on his behavior, and I initially planned to hang a town member, and then see who would switch their votes to the Mafia and who wouldn't.
In my scheme, Master is a town member, and I'm sure of it.
My plan was that in the second half of the day, I would firmly ask Nebo to remove his vote from Master, and other town members would follow.
And before that, Master needed to defend himself well in the discussion (and he was doing a really good job), plus I would gently encourage people to switch their votes to Arandor. And those players who simply listen to our arguments and switch their votes from the town member to the Mafia are town members.
Everything was going well. First, I voted for Master, and votes started accumulating on him. Then, Master himself began to convince everyone of his innocence. I added my vote to Arandor and tried to persuasively shift the votes.
Yashur votes for Arandor (he only has my one vote on him), and I think, "Oh, here's the first town member." Then things went wrong. I hoped that Ney or Kosha would switch their votes and reveal themselves, but Nebo, who is definitely a town member, switched his vote, and a chain reaction began.
Okay, I'm trying to extract some information from this. It seems that Kosha was waiting for Ney to vote, and only at the very end, out of desperation, she switched her vote to her teammate.
The Mafia is defeated, is it time to look for the serial killers?
Yashur is not a serial killer - he was blocked on the first night, and blocked three times on the second night.
Me and Master are not serial killers - we were blocked on the second night, and on the third night, Gorio is killed, and two are blocked.
Kosha and Ar turned out to be Mafia.
Neyra and Nebo remain as potential serial killers.
I'm sitting here, sipping tea, and deciding to analyze the clues. I noticed that it's not "one hundred and sixty-nine" as a number, but "one hundred and sixty-ninth day."
I take a calculator, calculate the 169th day of the year. That's June 18th.
"The defeat of Napoleon I's army in the Battle of Waterloo."
"It was the 169th day since the first defeat of "Zhivoglot" against the empire's garrison."
Bingo!
Cancel Arandor's execution, execute Yashur.
After this, I have no idea who is who.
And here's a very good point. It's a shame that I didn't come up with it myself. Yashur, out of the three – Nebo, Kosha, and Medj – who is the negative factor that "holds" your town role, and why?
