Mafia 107. Fever and Overdose

Interestingly, the newspaper doesn't seem to have any descriptions of failed kills. Here are some possible scenarios:

1. The Mafia killer encountered strong resistance. In this case, it wasn't the Reaper who went out to kill (most likely), but the Monster. It's a bit of a strange choice, considering the probability of successful healing from the Doctor, but we can assume that there were many players with immunity (so there weren't that many targets for the Doctor).

2. The Mafia used the Father's ability. This is possible if the Father is among the players who had immunity on the first night (otherwise, releasing the Father would have been very unwise).

3. The Mafia was blocked by the Vigilante.

For the Serial Killer, scenarios 1 and 3 are also possible, but the Serial Killer might not have gone out to kill at all. A Night Defense with redirection and protection removal is also a good option for the first night.

Tox, just to be sure, I want to clarify:

If the Father uses his ability on someone, and the Vigilante uses his ultimate ability on the following night, will the target of the Father's ability die or survive?
