The Road Back

Well, it's not yet clear how to defend against the turquoise faction. Dugal was the first enemy to attack, using his finger to target all the griffins and dealing significant damage to the archers with his own archers. The second course on Edward's menu was Iris's poultry: the militia did disappear in the attack on the box, as the remaining archers were again targeted with his finger, and, strangely enough, divine intervention didn't work on the swordsmen, who had been idly standing near the cart throughout the battle. Glen arrived third with siege engines, a ballista, and... fire arrows. He would have defeated Edward even without the preliminary attack from Iris, and after it, he would have left nothing but a wet spot. Gloria had been rushing to the castle for almost a week, and in the thieves' lair, the surviving Dugal was flashing around as the strongest hero of the turquoise faction.
