Posts from The 3rd stage of the annual John Van Caneghem Tournament (2007).
Now it's clear what we're talking about, and honestly, I was thinking about the other battle.

P.S. I advise everyone who will be participating in the well-known event (a surprise from VDV_forever) to provide a description of the FIRST 6 TURNS.
Sincerely, VDV_forever

Dmitry_A_S:
Your suggestion will definitely be considered in the next tournament. There will be no changes to the rules of this tournament!
PS. Don't be alarmed when I talk about the last three tournaments and 13 days – I'm referring to stage 1, stage 2, and the non-ranked tournament for 4 players, not this one. However, I'm surprised myself – three times in 13 days. It's extra confirmation in numbers that I'm half dark and half light. Some kind of mysticism :(

If it's only in this map, then I apologize and we won't expect a response.
I don't quite understand what this "well-known" event is that requires describing the first 6 days... Is this specific to this map (I haven't started yet, I was waiting for the discussion about the patches to end) or is it a general thing? Please enlighten me!

In my opinion, this "bug" should be viewed from a different perspective - replace the number of ballista ammunition with an infinity sign. Good luck with your hunt! May the ballista be with you :) .
Ah, Dmitry_A_S, where were you when I raised this issue? It was in a thread about either my first or second stage. VDV_Forever convinced me at the time that it was perfectly acceptable for the game. The idea is to plan the endgame so that the main player finishes the game – that's the whole point.
In the first stage, I brought up this question right away (/topic/1811/, post #4). VDV didn't change the rules and also decided to consider this issue after the tournament (I’ll have to remind him of this afterwards ;)). In the second stage, I could leave heroes in the save file and specify whose skills should be taken into account.

2) It would be nice to implement automatic battles and hold a tournament! This would significantly reduce the time per turn. Maybe it's worth exploring this idea. :) :) :)
Well, I guess I'm still very green! :) I just can't understand what this means: "Selling artifacts at inflated prices."?

Selling artifacts at MEGA inflated prices is the most powerful bug; I described it somewhere, in some thread, I don't remember.
Well, I wouldn't say that; you take some orb, like Inhibition or Vulnerability, and sell about 5-6 scrolls for around three thousand each (at the start of the game), you've made an extra twenty thousand, bribed some troops, and you're ready for battle.
But although there is another bug—I think it only works on Hot Seat—where you can see the opponent's forces by viewing their turn. And where do you get 5-6 scrolls at the start of the game? Where do you find a shop at the start of the game? Where do you get Inhibition or Vulnerability orbs?? In official Tournaments, leaders usually complete the map in no more than two weeks. In exceptionally difficult cases, within a month. So think about it—do they even have time to use this bug :) No, I'm not arguing that there are maps where all of this can be found in the first week—that's exactly why organizers select maps for tournaments and check how things work before launching a tournament on them.
Now I can rate the map 9 out of 10.
Actually, to be precise, 9.(9) = 10
I have a surprise for you, but I'll tell you about it after the tournament.
Okay, we have "Heroes Digging Tool" – let's create a "Ballista Killer"!! :)
vbn - x-starter does approximately the same thing as the program. It's just designed for those who don't know how to program. It records mouse movements and sets up button and key clicks, and you can also specify timer delays before pressing buttons.
It's probably a good tool – "Heroes Digging Tool".
