Try downloading a newer version; everything should be working properly there.

I carefully started playing through this campaign with a specific hero.
The first time, I made a few mistakes, and things didn't go as planned...
I finished the first mission.
After clearing the map, I spent a week gathering wood and building up my army. I sent Vlad home, sailed to the Barbarian, and spent another 1.5 weeks there.
The battles with Vlad and the Barbarian were on auto-pilot.
The only thing that seemed strange was the severe shortage of ore; I ended up with only 1 ore left and couldn't build a barracks to upgrade my swordsmen. This didn't affect the outcome, but for aesthetic reasons, it would have been nice to have a few more ore deposits somewhere. Or maybe it's intentional.

In the second mission, things got difficult. I took two Elven castles, but at the beginning of the fourth week of the first month, a formidable Elf arrived and defeated me. There wasn't enough time or opportunities to level up or learn magic properly.
I don't know what to do now.
If I don't move the garrison and take the Sylvan Grove yet, but instead focus on the Dwarves, will this Elf try to attack me? Or will he stay near the city?
