Sanctuary - "Defeat and Victory" [Campaign 4 - Mission 2]Auto-translated
Exactly, level 17 is the maximum in this mission. I can't save the snow maidens – I see them, but the portal to them, located in the sea near the former city of Hiroshima, is closed :smile35:. Is there any other way to get to them?
Here's a screenshot showing what lies beyond the mountains... although those are just fallen jellyfish! But still, I can't get to them...
Maybe it's just another bug in the pirated version... And 2 parts of the map haven't been revealed – the upper left and lower right (see the mini-map)... I want the licensed version!
I found Ronin, and I thought he would be much stronger, but he only had 3 stacks, with only 28 nagas, the rest were sharks, 2 squads. I defeated him, and there was practically no choice to spare or execute him – only the "execute" button was active because I'm developing Irina for blood – the gates to Hiroshi opened.
I don't understand. What difficulty level? Yesterday, I went to him, and he had 44 Kenshi, 165 capp, and over 100 sharks. The difficulty level is... I started attacking him yesterday, and the computer completely froze.

I'm playing on normal difficulty. Ronin almost defeated me near the end of the game.
Yes, I encountered the bug with the Fortress again, and it was destroyed after I captured it. However, I rebuilt it into a Stronghold using the building icons, but it still didn't appear. I also noticed that the portal to the Snow Maidens disappeared periodically, but then reappeared. I understand that if you follow the Blood path, you have to fight Hiroshi. I went to him, but he had thousands of units. I had to turn around and leave.
Guys, on this map, I waited for a million neutral units to gather. Should I build up my army to defeat them and gain a lot of experience for my dynasty, or should I just ignore them?

When I played through the Haven campaign last month, I intentionally let the neutral units accumulate so I could develop my dynasty's weapons. However, I received much less experience for defeating the large mobs than I expected. It seems like there's some kind of mechanism in place to prevent excessive experience farming. So, I advise you not to wait until you can defeat this unit and move on to the next mission.
I played this mission twice – once, I developed Irina to the max in tears, and the second time – in blood. Blood is still more profitable and provides more powerful bonuses. =)
Regarding the walkthrough – as Mr. Winner advised, I didn't rush to go to the second town; instead, I thoroughly cleared the map and leveled up Irina. After defending the village, I completed the quests of Ronin and Kirin (I didn't recruit spirits or nymphs). By the way, if you are developing in tears, you don't need to kill Tiangbo, but if you are developing in blood, you will have to kill him; there is no other choice. Instead of Tiangbo, Katashi, the master of lightning, will join you.
After completing these quests, I immediately captured the lower town, Syanzo, I think, and headed to the next ones. I advise you to capture them immediately, without getting distracted by the map; otherwise, the enemies will start running around and bothering you. When all the towns are yours and only Hiroshi remains, you can relax: take your time to explore the map, level up Irina and the second hero; no one will bother you.
The battle with Hiroshi didn't work out in either of my playthroughs: he surrendered. Have a nice game, everyone! =)
Who knows why Irina can't use the "Dragonbone Staff"? I used it once, but now it has no charges. I give it to another hero, and it works fine... And also, this applies to different campaigns... why does the cost of magic increase? For me, the cost of a spell has reached over 6000 mana.

As far as I understand, staffs and swords always have only one charge. But I've never seen anything like this with spells before...
I have what seems to be the final version 2.1.1, and the same thing happens with this fortress: it has a neutral flag. I captured it, but since Irina moves slowly, by the time I did something, 2 weeks had passed, and nothing is more annoying than timed quests. The city shows a "deadly" threat level, which is not a fun start. In the starting city, I built everything except for those Japanese knights; I can't remember the name. The rest of the units are all advanced. I want to guide Irina through Sylvan, but after the first mission, she didn't get the 250 reputation points or level up; she only got level 9 after the quest fortress:smile35:.
Просто мне нравятся брюнетки...Поэтому и - Лукреция  Асха всё обращает во благо (с).
the level is often a problem. I started gaining levels even in the first mission. You should start with two heroes (the second one for gathering and scouting). In the upper right corner, there's a ship with ghosts; it has many crystals, and to the right and down, there's a mine.
Added 7 minutes ago I easily completed it.
Added 21 minutes ago Version 1.7.1 And another tip: replay the first mission and execute Martina; it will be easy to gain points in this mission. The Fortress in this mission will be guarded by a weak squad (a few guards and, I think, that's all, without any auras or griffons, etc.).
Added 5 hours and 51 minutes ago Besides, there are still 2 weeks left until the Fortress. It takes 3-4 days to get there.
