Confirmed. The first week turned out quite decent. Griffin Conservatory next to the castle, 5 heroes, I don't take the last rest, I decide to play. The Griffin Conservatory turned out to be a low-level one, Straker shows up as the 8th hero, I can do a bit of necromancy. The dwelling with property helped a lot: from the very first week, all scouts produce gold. 1246 in the fort. Useful things: 2 crypts (already taken). On the second week, I take the beehives scattered around the edges of the respawn, shake out 14 wyverns from two, from the Inferno secondary hero (next to which there's another low-level Griffin Conservatory) I scout a passage into the treasure zone in the underground. Actually, two. On both sides of Inferno. In one part, a prison and boots for 100+ ice guards are visible. I was completely sure I had placed the castle on 127. On the third week, I realize with horror that I didn't place it:eek: I also lost a pegasus on one of the guards (mages with a griffin stack). Panic starts to set in due to the opponent's rapidly growing stats. Since Tyraxor with 28-19-... keeps appearing in the tavern, I understand that right now he is deliciously feasting on a veeeery rich treasure zone:smile04: At the end of the third week, I take the naga bank near Inferno and go into the treasure zone, capture the gold mine, with wild losses I take down 10+ griffin hydras for 2 pandora's boxes (15k and 5k experience respectively), 4 pegasuses and a couple of wyverns fall. Vala levels up terribly, no logistics, no earth. But leadership, water and air expertise, basic defense. On the fourth week, already playing on autopilot, I free Korbac from prison at level 10 with expert armorer, archery, advanced ballistics, and pathfinding, but it's way too late to do anything. I take the boots, grab an ogre's club and a dead man's shield on the way. Besides that, there were several artifacts from the start of the game: spirit of oppression (for Vala - sew ... ... (sarcastic)), hourglass of the evil hour, and spirit of despair. In the whole game, 2 external dwellings of pikemen and one of griffins on the respawn, and one of dendroids on the secondary hero. That's all the goodies. At this point the treasure zone ended. Going into its other branch is too late and unknown what's there. And now Tyraxor has broken through the GO and, with the persistence of a mail train, is rushing north towards my main. I could guerilla, but that won't last long and is unlikely to be effective. Valya, after brief deliberation, makes the manly decision to give him battle within the castle walls. Our proud Varangian does not surrender to the enemy. I place Vala in the castle, the army arrives via chain, I set up a semblance of a guard parade that delays Tyrax in a cage from the castle. This allows me to upgrade three lame angels. During the process, FB didn't give up, it was interesting to see what damage I could deal to the opponent. Also that damn red ball! He lost 27 grand elites:D Thanks for the game! Grizvald
Although on the second week, the opponent could have easily dropped by with pegasuses and marksmen, but he went for the secondary hero.
Perhaps, that's an option. With 4 pegasuses and 20+ marksmen )) If I had foreseen your development, I definitely would have dropped by. Dear template creators! Something needs to be done about sm. Especially if tournaments are held on it. In terms of imbalance, only Jebus Cross can compare, and even then not by much.

People have been playing for many years and it’s fine
Well, it's a matter of taste. Personally, I think CM is the best template out of all the available ones. After that, Panic and Balance. And some people enjoy playing HL+U with millions of zones and teleports. But for beginners, CM is definitely the most suitable, thanks to its simplicity and linearity.
RiMpel2They've been playing for many years and it's fine I agree that they've been playing for many years. But there are only 6 (!) angel dwellings and only 2 Dragon Utopia on the map, and — pay attention — all of them are located in a single treasure zone. Is this "fine" in your opinion? I won't even start on the artifacts.
On the other hand, nobody banned rushing either, and by week 2 it's already realistic to reach your opponent, if not through the GO, then through the secondary town, so IMHO you still have to look at the situation and if there's an opportunity to rush, you should use it). Of course, treasure zones differ from each other), but by dragging out the game, you're signing up for it yourself). So it turns out that some get 6 caches of angels, while others get 2 mini Dragon Fly Hives)

That's exactly the point. Whether to rush or not is a secondary matter. The issue is about a map that is initially generated unevenly, about the different density of filling zones that serve the same purpose. Imagine a football match with 11 players on one team and 5 on the other. Can the masters who create templates somehow influence this, or is it technically very difficult to do?

Tournament NP vs LM. 08.07.13. u2noob (blue, Rampart, Ivor, Ivor) draw Javdet (red, Castle, Caitlin, Monya), 8mm6a, 121. Ivor came with 8 archers, the respawn is small - but rich in gold, a spread of 7 heroes. I immediately strike with Ivor, exiting the respawn into the teleporter. Ivor rushes along the road, raising his stats and collecting artifacts (+1 to everything, badge to spirit +1), leaking units along the way, but the generous opponent gives auto, scout heroes in a chain regularly deliver troops and upgrade the archers. On turn 121, Ivor breaks into the opponent's zone where he takes the opponent's main. Since I took auto, we agreed on a draw. Thanks for the game.

I confirm... I would only correct the stats during the final battle, but that's not important.

I am withdrawing from the tournament. I can't seem to assess what I can take and what I can't in any game. As a result, I lose. Neither I nor my opponent enjoy this kind of game. If this caused anyone inconvenience, I apologize.
So now I can't even earn a Prestige Point? Or you?

08.07.2013. Group "C" RoninHW (red, Bog, Tazar, Tazar) def RaiseTheDead (blue, Conflux, random, Pasis, Clavius/Nimus) 2sm4(d) 126 Completely restarted and a lottery-type game. Native respawn is poor in money, but the Griffin Conservatory is scouted. I immediately go for the Inferno secondary hero. By the time I reached and captured it, I almost lost the entire stack of Gnolls due to unpleasant guards. From two respawns, I barely scraped enough to get Visions at the citadel. The main hero isn't leveling well, no money... everything is bad. Bought the growth with exchange down to zero. Picked up the Flail +4, boots, and headed for the underground secondary, but news arrives of a surrender. The opponent lost in the Griffin Conservatory. Just lucky. Thanks for the game!
