Maybe you could disable the "subordination" ability on the map? It's getting too easy to defeat the main hero...

I played through it on Veteran difficulty. I really enjoyed it. I didn't rush anywhere. My main strength was the arbalests! The game ended with the glorious knight losing consciousness. Is that how it's supposed to be?

I completed the map in hero mode in 118 days, didn't play very attentively, and received the title of Twilight Dragon :smile13:. I destroyed all living creatures on my half of the map, except for the phoenixes that guard the second version of the Moon Blade:cool:. I leveled up my hero to level 32. When I crossed the bridge, I simply caught up with and defeated the bandits in the upper right corner of the map :smile14:.
Overall, I enjoyed it, the only thing that bothered me was that for the last two weeks, I was just running between my castles and accumulating an army for the final battle :eek:.

I understand that this is an old topic, but maybe someone will answer. I got to the mountains late (I delayed with the ship because I didn't see it available), and judging by what is written here, the Rogue should have a decent army. After the brown player started moving, I intercepted some hero in the mountains with a group of centaurs and attacked without looking. After that, I was told to approach the Necromancer, and according to the script, the mission ended. Question: was that the same hero? I have some feeling of frustration (I prepared, gathered troops, gained experience, and where is the final battle?). Apparently, I exhausted these partisans, and they died of hunger while waiting for me.

3. The save was not made right before the battle; I'll save again during the replay and let you know.
4. No, to avoid glitches, I only keep the map I'm playing in there.
5. I didn't use anything because I don't know how.
6. The mission was completed successfully (the hero lost consciousness).
7. I don't know how to identify which save it is in the folder C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\My Documents\My Games\Heroes of Might and Magic V — Tribes of the East\Profiles\Player\Saves; they are simply numbered, and I can't see my name.
