This is the connection to the old world that Laboul was talking about.
What kind of connection could there possibly be? Well, they might come up with some "incredible" storyline in a campaign that lasts about a minute and a half, saying that something flashed in the sky, everyone looked, was surprised, and then went about their business. It's hard to imagine anything more than that. But seriously, Shiva and Adelaide – that's the connection.

During this stage, I found many "incomplete translations," as well as hero/unit attacks where the attacked unit lacks animation (flames around the attacked unit, etc.), attack synchronization issues – a mismatch between the shot or attack and the damage dealt, minor bugs, and major lags, not to mention balance problems. Unfortunately, the old forum for beta testers is closed, and I don't know where to submit reports now. But I think Black Hole will figure it out without me 😉.

I played duels with a Necropolis mage hero. Results:
Battle against the Barbarians (Easy AI)
A very easy battle. In duels, the Death Spinner is a key unit, and all others are only needed for cover (Spider form - ranged attacker). "Unholy Word" deals little damage due to magic resistance, but "Explosion" and "Lightning" are recommended for use.
Battle against the Order (Medium AI)
Despite the Order warriors having increased damage against undead, this did not affect the outcome of the battle. The same recipe for covering the Death Spinners + "Summon" was used.
Battle against Inferno (Medium AI)
This was a close-quarters battle. The demons summoned many reinforcements, but they shouldn't be paid attention to – after the summoning unit is killed, the summoned unit also dies. And the Fate Spinners are also effective in close combat.
Battle against the Shrine (Medium AI)
The Shrine's high-quality units gave my army a good beating. In addition, the Shrine has many spirits, so magic is practically ineffective against them. But the well-known unit, when covering the Lamasu, copes perfectly :).
Battle against the Necropolis (Medium AI)
Completely disappointed with "Unholy Word," I remade the hero into a Tears class. However, the "Sacrifice" ability never came in handy. This was a very difficult battle – I shouldn't have chosen a mage as my opponent. Only the Death Spinners, which fought with their own kind for half the battle, and the Greater Vampires survived, thanks only to Necromancy. In general, undead against undead feel uncomfortable.
Conclusion:
In duels, the most effective units were the Fate Spinners and Archliches, both due to their magic damage, which combines well with the magic power of the mage hero. Ghouls also performed well.
In duels, you can choose two army options – for the Necropolis, I chose an option with two types of ghosts (instead of skeletons) to cover the ranged attackers. In addition, they heal quite well, so relying on this type of army was justified.
I think that in the end, "the sixth" game, like "the fifth," will be played mainly in duels. The advantage of these battles is their brevity and clarity. It is in them that you can play with balanced armies with the most developed heroes, which allows you to determine the strongest :)!

The Stronghold is a worthy faction; it seemed to me that it was one of the strongest. "Fury" significantly increases their combat effectiveness and initiative, allowing the Orcs to move as often as the Nags (especially since I had artifacts that boosted initiative).
If I'm not mistaken, only the Orc champion deals 4 damage? Does that mean they are better suited for storming a fortress?
