So, the same situation can be interpreted in two ways, and each side can be confident in their own rightness. But believe me, it's better to see once than to hear or read about it seven times.
And Cobra's testimony, which somehow only surfaced after my clear statements appeared. It's quite possible to attribute it to his apathetic attitude towards the AK and the resource in general. Well, if they both don't care, what's the point of everyone making such a fuss? If the participants themselves don't care, there will still be no unified opinion. Everything is so murky that doubts will remain regardless of the outcome of the review, the vote, etc. And the position they have taken suggests that there was indeed some truth to it. To hell with everyone, that's just me – a typical offended and guilty person.

I understand that you live in Russia, and it's common for officials to sit in a position and start making decisions. That is, people forget that public service is primarily a service, and only secondarily a source of income and a means of self-realization. But this is in multi-million-strong states. In relatively small communities of free people (which include Heroic communities), the system of maintaining order usually takes a different form – something like sheriffs in the Wild West. That is, the sheriff's power rests on his personal authority, on his ability to clearly justify the fairness of his decisions, and also on his ability to put particularly stubborn people in their place, with words or deeds. Moreover, he has no support from the state apparatus; a sheriff who messes up loses the support of the residents and the ability to perform his functions. So, the behavior of individual members of the AK doesn't resemble the sheriff model at all. It's more like the model of an official in an office, who signs papers and isolates himself from the residents with physical and bureaucratic walls. So, comrades, come out and express your personal opinion, don't hide behind the AK brand. And let it be clear that you really believe that. Because it's better to be sincerely mistaken than to consciously say what you don't believe in, even if it's true.

Of course, you can draw any conclusions from these conversations between me, Cobra, and Pit – opinions may differ, and personal feelings towards me make the assessment subjective, both positively and negatively! Here, as I understand it, the question is broadly multifaceted: how should people generally feel about me, and is it worth trying to reconcile with me and the incident involving me?...
So, I understand why Lebron would vote for me 100%, even if I were actually cheating in some game and told him about it! And why, you ask? How many people in tournaments would offer an auto-save when their opponent concedes in the middle of the second week, when the game is almost in the endgame? (I do this in about 1/3 of tournament games if I hear about a concede or something else (if my opponent was initially polite and pleasant), and many players on this resource will confirm this). I have never written and will never write a report in the first week, as I consider it absurd. I think this happens rarely, which disappoints me... And this is not a boast about my personal qualities; God forbid, please don't take it that way! The point is that I play this Great game, and I can't live without this pastime! And the result doesn't really matter to me if there isn't an exciting and interesting game! Of course, I am a very vain person, there's no arguing with that, and this is also my advantage, which in many cases makes achieving goals easier for me! So, all this was written to make the players and judges of the resource think about why, with all this, I would even try to make the task of winning easier for myself if I give auto-saves, humanitarian restarts, etc. Am I experiencing a split personality?
And a little about Mikogo: I've done a lot of streams in the last 2-3 months. I hope they were interesting and, in some ways, instructive not only for me but also for other players, as by watching my mistakes, they can avoid their own in their games! That's all. I hope that, even though I wasn't brief, I was able to clearly convey my position and attitude to everyone!

Everything is simple and clear: there is documented evidence of map hacking from Player1's computer in an unfinished game. Player1 MUST face punishment. Period.
The various defenses from his supporters—whether about cobras or vipers supposedly causing this, completely subjective interpretations about sheriffs, tons of legal hair-splitting, and mass attempts to discredit the AC *we* elected—are all just noise, IMHO...

P.S. Let me emphasize again—it makes ABSOLUTELY no difference who made such a mistake: whether it's a player who dedicates all their time and effort to improvement and possesses the highest skill, or an inexperienced newbie. And we, the players of HeroesWorld, should not let the AC be wronged. If necessary, we must express a vote of confidence! I also believe the AC should not cave in to the hysteria and reverse its decision... Very many players think the same way I do—they just aren't as loud and vocal as many of Player1's defenders. I am convinced that a consistent and firm line against map hacking of any kind is for the benefit of this Great Game (no irony).

2. In the first week, if I'm matched with a weak (I think) player in a tournament, and they finish in 1st place, and I don't have much time to play, why can't I end that game instead of suffering through it? ;)

I liked the players like Pasha and Decontaminator, honest and truly open people, and honestly, I don't like the "buy-in" games, where it's all about the money, with a lot of swearing... We come here to play and chat. And I want the communication to be pleasant.

AlexGreat – respect for the style and tone of the post. It would be great if you had more respect and trust. However, the content is not entirely accurate. Many players use autosaves in tournaments, so there’s no need to be too proud of it. And it doesn’t really have much to do with cheating.

There's been a lot of discussion, so I'll briefly share my opinion. Impartially, as I see it (meaning everyone will get their share, as usual). Alex's cheating hasn't been proven. The defense's version is quite plausible and seems convincing. At the very least, there are doubts, which in legal practice are interpreted in favor of the defendant. I carefully reread all the logs and arguments; I might have missed something, but I won't reread them again. There's no reason to give him a disqualification. A technical penalty could be given for negligence, unsportsmanlike conduct, as Dirty says, and so on. I would give him something. There's no reason to disqualify a strong (I emphasize – not a "great" player, just a strong one) player from the tournament. That's my opinion. I don't think the AC judged him unfairly; they seem to believe what they're saying. They had to impose some kind of punishment, and they imposed this one. If they're wrong, it's sincerely, without any malice. And I want to believe they are wrong. I don't understand why Cobra needed to reveal the map, but that's another story. I don't support Forrest's "decision" in this way. It's foolish. I have no complaints about Peterius. If I were in the AC's position, I would be thinking now. It's a dilemma. No, seriously, you guys are acting like children. Was the fact of the save file being tampered with established and proven? I understand that yes. Is it a fact that Alex's computer was used? Yes. +1 It hasn't been proven that Alex tampered with the save files, nor has the opposite been proven. When will you understand that there is no need to discredit anything? :) It has already been done, and by the AK itself :) Why? I already wrote about it in my previous post. I wrote about how it is done in similar situations in other tournaments. Here, however, the AK is sticking to its decision. Moreover, my question about why exactly disqualification from the tournament was chosen was ignored. Why not a temporary ban, or a ban from the World Championship? Where is it clearly stated what punishment is for what violation? If the rules stated that opening a save file on a player's computer results in disqualification from the tournament, everything would be perfectly clear. But there isn't.
Guessing about the motives of people who made one decision or another is a thankless task. But this decision by the AK definitely indicates one thing: a biased attitude of the AK towards Alex. No matter what is written here about how someone would be banned in a similar situation, I am 95% sure that with a confirmed report, especially since the opponent was aware of the situation and still confirmed the report, this would not even be discussed.
Now, voices are saying that we shouldn't let the AK be wronged, that they shouldn't change their decision, otherwise this and that will happen. Guys, if the AK stubbornly sticks to its stubbornness and doesn't admit its own mistake, then this will be very dangerous, believe me. Only gods are infallible, and if a person begins to think of himself as a god, then there is only one path.
By the way, regarding the timing of the investigation. Here, too, the AK showed absolute unprofessionalism. They investigated the situation behind closed doors for a month and a half. They couldn't figure it out themselves. That is, (I'm not afraid to say it) they were afraid to make a decision on their own. They decided to post the materials on a third-party forum, thinking that the heroic community, as in the case of Vitaly, would unanimously side with the prosecution. But the opposite happened. Apart from the fanatical false patriots of the Hive, no one spoke out against Alex. Then, seeing that the result was turning out to be exactly the opposite of what was expected, the AK quickly made this decision, without waiting for the discussion to end. Guys, honestly, you can't do that. You are discrediting yourselves to such an extent...

P.S. The ability to admit one's mistakes is the best quality a person can have, it's the highest level. Stubbornness is the complete opposite.

Everyone is asking for the AK's opinion, so I'll share my perspective:
1) There was a request to the AK with undeniable evidence of cheat codes in an online game!
- It's not worth rushing to conclusions and first find out what happened from the owner of that computer.
The response was that it was a guest, and the owner is not involved.
- Well, no one could have thought of that/I still don't believe he could have cheated, I just don't believe it./

And the full interpretation was, it all depends on the opponent's decision - either continue the match or have a replay.

2) My second decision was:
technically - after studying the evidence and comparing the time on the video and the saves.

3) All that was required from Cobra was to confirm Alex's alibi, and that's it.
What information was obtained and how it was obtained - based on this,
my opinion has remained the same, and disqualification should only be from the tournament.

4) And finally, the opinion was:
Alex should be suspended from tournaments for six months, and Cobra for three months.
The unacceptable action that occurred on Alex's computer is not considered cheating, but rather unacceptable fan behavior/example: fans rioting in a stadium - the management of the team whose fans are involved is responsible.//There is no evidence that Cobra did it, and it has not been proven that it was Alex - maybe someone saw something that Alex is being punished for cheating./ To resolve this situation, all that was needed was for Cobra to confirm Alex's alibi.



Now, all you WISE and JUST people, put yourselves in the judge's shoes and suggest a solution to the situation - I will gladly listen and try to understand/maybe I'm not very good at judging, and it's time to give up my powers, if that's the case, I'll write a resignation from the AK./
