I've encountered this problem. I purchased additional DDR 2 (800) RAM, 4 GB in 2 sticks of 2 GB each.

This window pops up after installing any OS on the computer when it has 8 GB of RAM. There are 4 sticks of 2 GB each.
This error doesn't occur with 4 GB. The computer's hardware has been fully tested... The BIOS has been updated to the latest version. Manipulations with the registry don't help. On a 64-bit system, the computer sees all 8 GB.

RAM: 8 GB DDR 2 (800)

Graphics Card: 9800 Geforce 1Gb
The message appears during the very first boot. Sometimes it pops up during the installation process. (And, accordingly... it ends with STOP: periodically.)
Please advise on how to resolve this issue.

All I had to do was change the SLI Broadcast Aperture value in the BIOS settings.

Could anyone share drivers for an Ethernet controller? Ideally, for a Gigabyte controller, but any should work, for example, Realtek.

I need some help. Yesterday, colored vertical stripes appeared across the screen. Then they merged into one black stripe, covering about 10% of the screen's width. The monitor is an LCD.
I suspected that the graphics card had failed, as I recently bought a used one. I replaced it with my old one, and the stripe disappeared. But today, it appeared again. It stayed for about 5 minutes and then disappeared again. And there's nothing I can really present to the service center. And I can't use the computer comfortably. What could be causing this?

Perhaps there's an issue with the monitor cable or the port on the monitor itself. It doesn't seem like the monitor itself is faulty, but that's just because I haven't heard of such problems before. I don't have any other ideas.

It turned out to be a problem with the monitor after all. I figured it out simply by disconnecting the cable, which brought up a "no signal" message with a stripe across it.
It's already been fixed. While they were fixing the monitor, I upgraded my computer. I installed an Intel Core 2 Duo with a Zalman fan and a GF 9600GT with a Silent cooling system, which improved performance and reduced noise.
However, the seller assured me that a 350W PSU is sufficient, but the video card's packaging states that a minimum of 450W is recommended. I'm a bit uneasy about it:confused:

I'm having a problem installing the latest Nvidia driver. I have version 191.07 installed. When I try to install 195.62 (downloaded from the official website), I get the message: "the Nvidia control panel could not be installed, which may affect driver functionality. The most recent driver that worked will now be restored."

I found many negative reviews about driver 195.62 on forums. So, I'd better continue using 191.07. Or even 181.20, because 191.07 disables the Nvidia control panel.

Yeah... I'm having problems with Nvidia too: this driver installs fine, but after a reboot, the computer freezes, even before it boots up. I have to use the computer without a graphics card for now.
