Disable your antivirus and firewall. Then open the Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs, and uninstall Ubisoft Game Launcher. Try installing the updated client UbisoftGameLauncherInstaller.exe (you may also reinstall the game). Open the hosts file (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts). If you had a pirated version of the game installed, the hosts file will contain the following lines:
If you have Nod32 antivirus installed, a complete removal of it may help. Update 1.1.1 will help you. If it didn't download automatically, you can download it here. In extreme cases, also try reinstalling the OS. These should be your account login and password on the UbiSoft website. If you don't have an account there, create one. Install update 1.1.1. Restarting the game (i.e., exit to Windows and enter the game again) may help with such problems. If this doesn't help, restart the mission. To remove these glitches, set the mouse polling rate to 125Hz in the settings. The activation key for the expansion can be obtained here. Launch the game, in the main menu, in the upper right corner, find the griffin icon and click on it. If you have the Collector's Edition, select "Exclusive"; if a pre-order, select "Additional Materials". Enter the second key there—the one not used for activating the game. Warning: the Collector's Edition key must be entered in the upper field, i.e., "Exclusive", otherwise you will receive fewer bonuses. If you accidentally entered the key in the lower field, you must wait for a response from "Buka" — they have sent a letter to the game's Technical Support to resolve the issue with the incorrect operation of the Collector's Edition key. You can also write a letter to "Buka" explaining the problem. You can download separate update installers for subsequent saving on a portable storage device from here (thanks to user Odissey for the tip). Problems with the pirated version of the game are not discussed on this forum.
FAQ on Campaign Bugs This is a quest bug — one of the five burials is not counted. Try visiting it with another hero. You can find the solution here. Most likely, this is because you promoted Sandor to a Tears reputation hero in the first mission. This causes a critical error in the second mission. Replay the first mission without choosing a reputation.Install update 1.8. This bug was fixed in it. After installation, all lost weapons will return and be available to your dynasty again.
Other Questions There are only two missions in the introductory campaign; if five new campaigns have opened, everything is fine.Twenty-four. Two each in the introductory and final campaigns, and four each in the campaigns for Necropolis, Haven, Sanctuary, Inferno, Stronghold.Hero armies do not carry over from mission to mission. The starting army on each new map depends only on the difficulty. You must complete at least one of the previous five (the introductory campaign does not count). The more campaigns you complete with different character classes (Light/Dark, Warrior/Mage), the more heroes will be available in the missions of this campaign. Select a campaign from the campaign list, click the "+" under the map and select the hero you want to use for the campaign. Blood heroes have access to the mission "Too Bright for Darkness," and Tears heroes to "Angels Cry Too."Build a "town portal" in any city. Enter that city, click on the spellbook, then select any city or fort on the map and click on it. An upgraded portal works from any point on the map, but another building must be constructed for it.Click the arrow in the lower left corner of the minimap. In the window that appears, quest targets will be marked with crosses, including the fragments of the Shaniri Disk.On the number of battles without losses. The number of days taken to complete the map does not affect this parameter. Nevertheless, both speed and mastery are considered when calculating the final map score, which determines the rank (Hero, Champion, etc.).Both yes and no. All expansions were added to the game in updates. "Pirates of the Wild Sea" was added in update 1.5, "Dance of Death" in 1.7, and "Shades of Darkness" in 2.1. If you bought the "Shades of Darkness" expansion, you can likely install version 2.0 of the game, which does not include the other campaigns. The game can be updated to unlock access to previous expansions, but to play them, they must be purchased separately.
