Does anyone know where I can find multiplayer maps for 2 heroes? I've been playing Hot Seat mode a lot lately, and I'd like to try some new maps.
New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
Background:
Knight Alex stole the Great Staff from the mages. But the problem is that no one really knows how to use it. And then the allies declared war.
Description:
A classic confrontation between Knights and Barbarians. The Knights are limited in mines, territories, artifacts, and monster lairs, but they have extensive resources throughout their territory. However, almost everything is guarded. The map is designed specifically for a RUSH strategy: the player who breaks through to key locations faster and takes control of the situation will succeed.
The Barbarian territory is mainly guarded by goblins in large numbers, but there are also many mines and artifacts. When playing as the Barbarians, the computer usually visits you on the second week. But when playing as the Knights, the computer is frankly slow – it loses the main hero on the 2nd or 3rd day!
The players are deliberately isolated from each other. You can meet in three ways: defeat the guards near the keymaster's tent and remove the barrier, learn the Summon Boat spell and sail across the water, or rely on level 5 of the magic tower – the Dimension Door (which is unlikely in itself).
So, the highlight of the map is that the Knight initially has a Scepter +12 Spell Power, but has no offensive spells (at the start, it's even impossible to get a single Arrow spell). In this regard, attacking 2 paladins at the doors of the treasure chamber is not an easy task. And whether it is worth immediately attacking the titan before it multiplies is up to you. The Logistics and Diplomacy skills will be a great help to you!
The Barbarians are in a more favorable situation – they have a large army and mines. The more time passes, the stronger they become. Cities play a special role for both factions. Even if you put all your accumulated army, breaking through hordes of neutrals, in the city, everything will be more than compensated: in addition to free troops, you will have access to level 2 of the magic tower with essential offensive spells (and the Knights also have an Ice Shard nearby)!
In short, play and experiment! There are several options for a quick playthrough for each side!
My best playthroughs:
Normal difficulty: Knight (18 days, 140 points)
Hard difficulty: Knight (17 days, 177 points), Barbarian (17 days, 177 points)
Expert difficulty: Knight (18 days, 210 points), Barbarian (19 days, 208 points)
Impossible difficulty: Knight (19 days, 243 points), Barbarian (18 days, 245 points)
If anyone improves the result, I will add it to the final table!

The Barbarians are in a more favorable situation - they have living forces and mines on their side. The more time passes, the stronger they become. Cities play a special role for both factions. Even if you put all your accumulated army, breaking through hordes of neutrals, in the city, everything will be more than compensated: in addition to free troops, you have level 2 of the magic tower with essential offensive spells at your service (and the Knights also have an Ice Shard nearby)!

And so it happened... In the year 3515 from the creation of the world,
the black sorcerer Sapay appeared in this world, in Cafeltra.
And there was a terrible battle. And the rightful ruler of these lands, Anduran, fell in an unequal battle. His possessions
were divided, his wealth was plundered, and his heir, the White Prince, was imprisoned in the Bastille.
But not everyone renounced the outcast; there is still a miserable group of his
supporters. They want to restore the rightful heir to the throne. They know that the White Prince can only win by possessing the Shield of Anduran, which was shattered in the battle with Sapay, and the fragments of which were given by the sorcerer to his minions. The supporters of the White Prince learned that one third of this Shield is with Sapay himself, another is with the king of elementals - Elementalius, and no one knows where the third is...
Recently, the Prince learned that an assassination attempt was being prepared against him, and he summoned a group of loyal centaurs to his aid.
So, help the White Prince return to the throne, unite all of Cafeltra under his rule, and overthrow Sapay, whose magical power is immeasurable. There is only a legend that only a certain ancient Sphinx knows how to subdue the enemy.
Note: It is recommended to choose the "Impossible" difficulty level (the map was not tested on other levels). The map can (and preferably should) be completed without using the "Dimension Door" spell.
Thanks: To Kuzmin V.A. for his help in writing, and to Kolomoichenko A.A. for testing and useful advice.
P.S. All maps are from here: >Heroes of Might and Magic II by >GrayMage<

Here is a test version of the map. I corrected inaccuracies, changed the teleport system, etc.
The map runs perfectly on my computer and doesn't contain any errors. But it crashes after 2 months of gameplay... Is it just me?
I've been working on this map for a very long time...
Please, someone play it and tell me the result. I won't post it as a new topic yet.
The map size is XXXL (Heroes of Might and Magic II: The Price of Loyalty, RUS version) :)
The archive is in 7z format.
