I've finished the game :) Throughout the playthrough, I never regretted praising the game so highly on the forum. Yes, it's truly wonderful. I don't regret spending 35 hours on it! :D There are some unpleasant aspects. It crashed a few times, once during a difficult battle. I really didn't like the labyrinth at the end of the game. When I move to another area of the labyrinth, return through the same passage a second later, and end up not where I was – that's awful. I almost died trying to find the exit, and because of the leadership increase and troop replenishment from losses, I had to run back and forth three times :( . It left a somewhat unpleasant aftertaste.

But the final opponent didn't cause any difficulties. For example, the battle with the giant orc (especially for those who have already finished the game :) ) caused much more losses to my army. I thought there would be an incredibly intense battle, in which I would win with one or two fairies :D

At the end, I married a demoness. But that's just for fun, because she's the coolest wife :D Although, in reality, she had very good slots for artifacts. For example, after trying to marry an elf, I realized that she wasn't very useful – only one artifact could be equipped on her, and even that was a modest one. And I didn't want to wait for the children to appear, and then get a random bonus at the end of the game. By the way, there wasn't a single demon in my army. :)

Overall, I recommend it to everyone! The game is worth playing, and it will definitely appeal to all fans of the Heroes series! My rating is 9.5/10

For me, it was 47k damage dealt by a Fairy (patch 1.2) =)

VDV_forever I saw in the description of patch 1.6 on the website that there was another feature: The speed limit for creatures has been removed in battles. Does this mean for all of them??? Then the battle turns into a free-for-all, all tactics go to hell, and the Haste spell becomes useless. Is this inaccurate, or is it really like that?

In my opinion, the game is at best a three out of five. At first, you have to run around, avoiding enemies, trying to preserve your army and gather some leadership, and then, once you have enough of both, you just crush everyone without regard for losses. For me, this moment came after completing the main quest involving the dwarves. I returned to the islands, cleared everything there, and also cleared the mines. Now I'm clearing the Book of Death; I've already left 3-4 armies there. I return, buy a new army, and I have more than enough money for everything. And the patches would have become larger. And the release date would have been delayed. And the game's budget would have increased. Who knows, maybe that wasn't acceptable to the developers?

I completed the entire game with one wife, didn't even have children, and by the end, I had more than 6 million gold (about 6,500,000).;)

The game was enjoyable. There are a thousand pros and fewer cons. So, about the cons: 1) Terrible dialogues; 2) Terrible locations, starting with the Labyrinth of Haas (apparently, the developers were running out of time, and the publisher insisted on the game being released as soon as possible); 3) Disgusting final location (Endoria the Turtle). In more detail. Murrok: one location, and it's underdeveloped. Demonis could have been made larger (at least 2-3 locations). The Labyrinth of Haas... I won't comment. It feels like the game consists of two parts: before the Labyrinth and after. And these two parts were made by different people. Compare, for example, Darion with Murrok... P.S. And yet, The Legend is the best game of 2008, IMHO.

Firstly, I'm not so confident to play an unfamiliar game on the hardest difficulty level; secondly, I really couldn't defeat many enemies on the islands, and not only there, which is why I wrote that I spent more time running around than fighting before the dwarves. But now I'm crushing everyone. I think trying to beat the game as fast as possible is pointless; I'm not competing with anyone, and I'm not setting any records. I'm just playing for fun.
