You take down everyone in your path, regardless of the losses.
Well, I don't know, I was too lazy to run back and forth to replenish my troops, so I always tried to end battles with minimal losses. Except for bosses and just strong heroes.Warrior
There's more than enough money for everything.
This was the case in the unpatched version. If you play the latest version, you won't feel like you have an abundance of gold. Personally, I finished the game with about 100,000 of them. Not that much. We're not talking about the easy difficulty level. In general, patches make the game quite a bit more difficult.Warrior
If you change your wife, she takes half of your money.
I changed my wife after a tough battle, when I had replenished my army and bought a few artifacts. As a result, the frog took away very little money.Warrior
lack of voice acting
Are you too lazy to read? ;) Actually, it would have been very, very difficult to create voice acting. The texts were corrected in every patch, and inviting actors to re-record a couple of lines is not an option. And the patches would have become larger. And the release date would have been delayed. And the game's budget would have increased. Who knows, maybe that wasn't acceptable to the developers?Warrior
no global quest
This is not an epic fantasy (like Tolkien's novels). The game focuses on a specific person and a few other important characters. And... well, it's obvious that for most of the game, the protagonist is searching for and rescuing the princess.
O God of Earth and Altar, Bow down and hear our cry, Our earthly rulers falter, Our people drift and die, The walls of gold entomb us, The swords of scorn divide, Take not thy thunder from us, Take away our pride.
