I don't like playing as the Sylvan faction; they are weak in infantry, unlike the Dungeon faction!
Posts from Discussion about Sylvan (Wood Elves).
Bow down and hear our cry,
Our earthly rulers falter,
Our people drift and die,
The walls of gold entomb us,
The swords of scorn divide,
Take not thy thunder from us,
Take away our pride.

Is... 7 archers in the 2nd week too many?
Sorry, but that's not really relevant. Conservator meant that new neutral creatures appeared on the map, you defeat them, and thus significantly increase the length of the turn.

The bug with the 4% bonus to Magic of Light has been fixed. Now everything is as it should be:
Light - 8%
Spellcraft - 4%
And with the enhanced Storm Wind spell, the elf has become a terror for Necromancers (Vampires and Ghosts are slowed down) :)
Горящие реки сходили с ума, пытаясь остаться водой,
Земля пропустила коварный удар, раскрывшись на шаге вперёд,
Взлетел разъярённым драконом Огонь и понял, что тоже умрёт...
On the one hand, this is good... but I rarely played defensively against Necropolis in the game. Resistance to unique creatures is a useful thing, but if something bad gets through, it's hard to recover afterwards. And Vampires have always been among the first on the list to be eliminated, and they often got a good beating in the first turn. The flip side of the coin is the Storm Wind ability of the Elf player. Dryads and Dragons are completely out of luck. The Academy and Necropolis have had their fog ability enhanced, so "who do the developers love more in this patch?", is a debatable question :)
Of course, everything written above is just my IMHO, so we can discuss it :)
P.S. With the new Storm Wind ability, it's definitely easier to take Utopia now :)

Круг жизни замкнулся - пути нет домой,
В безрадостном мире нет звёзд в небесах,
Мечты обращаются в прах!!!
If you don't know how to properly use the initiative advantage, you'll lose.
In my opinion, this faction is not for beginners.
Elves are quite well-balanced: they have both "tough" creatures like Ents and balanced ones like Unicorns. But the elves' strength lies in fast-paced gameplay; they are very proactive. They are strong in the mid-game, but with prolonged development, they lose to Necromancers, Humans, and Mages. Elves are characterized by low survivability and relatively low damage, and defense doesn't always save them.
Don't elves have low damage?
The hero's attack grows a bit slower, but the creatures have good damage.
It's worth noting that the longer the game lasts, the more troops are encountered in battles, which means the Avenger skill has a greater impact.

the avenger skill works more brutally.
By the way, elves can wipe out a decent chunk of an army in the first turn of a battle, which is also a plus.
And if a Knight trains monks, for example, they can be made blood enemies, which makes it less scary.
On large maps with undead, only demons with their summoning ability can compete in terms of troop numbers.
But runes are awesome :) especially with resurrection...
Except the ones we've made
Explain why they lose to Necromancers, Mages, and Humans in long games.

Mages are still stronger, plus they have mini-arts. Necromancers will manage to summon creatures of levels 6 and 7, and they will beat the Elves (of course, if the Necromancer is skilled). Humans have Angels and Paladins, which are stronger than Ents and Dragons. But Elves still manage to cope with Humans.
The Elf's attack grows much slower than defense and knowledge, and sometimes slower than magic.
