Of course, they do. And those who say they play tournament maps while sipping coffee are just being disingenuous. They eat just as much, if not more, because tournaments take a lot of energy, and that energy needs to be replenished. Here's the proof, as shown by the votes:

It's normal. You can eat, but do you need to? (10 people: Brackman, Dirty_Player, Drnik, eXeCuToR, Kamikaze, Kitty, RAPER, Tengro, WitcheR-L, Драккошка) - and for the last group, that "can" happens during a tournament map playthrough.

The previous post is slanderous, at least regarding me. During tournaments (and even when I'm just playing), I completely forget about food. I only occasionally eat sandwiches or candies :) When I feel like it :)
Otherwise... My record was when I ate all the baked casserole that was on the table and asked for more (5 servings + soup/main course + compote or tea, I don't remember). But generally... I eat everything they give me, but not more. Only if there's some delicious food left, like fried potatoes with mushrooms, I'll ask for more :) But usually, I'm not really interested in food :)
And yet, I'm 155 cm tall, weigh 52 kg, and they still try to make me gain weight! :smile45:

The point about tournaments is well made. Very true :) As for me, at least, this statement is quite accurate. Sometimes I deliberately wait for the game to start and eat right in front of the monitor; sometimes I deliberately gather a bunch of grapes, apples, or any fruits and berries that I can find in the kitchen. I don't neglect various cookies and crackers, just to have something to munch on during the game :) Like probably most people, I enjoy eating and watching TV. By the way, this way, you can eat significantly more than if a person were just eating without any distractions. This is because when we are constantly distracted, we forget to monitor our appetite and don't notice how much we eat. And if the dish turns out to be incredibly delicious... :)

P.S. I can't imagine what the appetite of fans of the game "Civilization" is like. One game can last for dozens of hours :D

I was scared. While eating a plate of buckwheat with four slices of bread and washing it down with two cups of kefir, I stuff myself until I'm completely full and then I walk around and berate myself for overeating. I eat only once a day. And despite all this, I'm not yet completely free of excess meat.
I wouldn't want to meet such an eater in the ring. ;)

I also drink coffee like a pump while playing (I drink about 8-10 cups a day), and I don't feel like going to the kitchen for food while at the computer.
And according to the first post, you can eat even more when you're really hungry. So: eat, eat, and don't listen to anyone:smile02:.

eight cups a day? Not bad, respect! ;) I once decided to drink coffee after not sleeping for three days straight, five cups with two packets each. I don't want to do that again. And how can you handle 8 cups a DAY?

Check out my profile. I didn't say it was a glass (I have a gift one that holds about 350 grams). And the mug was bought specifically for coffee.
When I was 14, I went to lunch with a classmate in the cafeteria for the first time. I ate more than K0Lb@zzeR. I don't remember exactly how much (and I don't want to lie), but when I told the foreman about the amount of food I ate, his eyes got as big as the wheels of a BelAZ truck. And now I eat twice a day: before and after my shift. And in the evening, before bed, I have a mug of coffee with a sandwich.
And about coffee: I can go without bread, meat, and other foods, but I can't go without coffee or cigarettes.
WisTrit, drinking coffee from packets is -:smile18: (IMHO) no matter what. I'd rather be as angry as 1000 goblins, but no packets (so I don't have to drink coffee anymore).

I don't care if it's in cartons or not, although I don't drink from cartons. And I'm also against smoking.

I also have coffee cups - I understand that it's not a half-liter mug, but still, 10 a day...
this can have a terrible effect on blood pressure in its time.

by the way, I don't drink instant coffee either, because I have a coffee machine; a minute, and a hot, fragrant, freshly ground coffee is in front of me; although in principle I have nothing against them, and I sometimes drank them before. however, I couldn't stand "coffee with cream and sugar" packets, their taste is so-so.

...regarding the topic: the main thing is to move, to do something, and you can eat as much food as you want, as long as the salary is enough xD
