That's basically how it was; you upgrade the snipers and go to the barricades. You say you buy 8 heroes, but it's hard to see how they broke through the dwarves and spearmen, and then captured the Castle...
Yes, I received a huge slap in the face with these results...
Apparently, for me, this is just a game, and I still don't know much about the heroes...
Maybe my result is even laughable...
To Dmitriy AS.
Just opened your saves and immediately guessed from Bron, sitting in the boat, that the Seer did indeed give 8888 gold. :(
And my flawed scouting said that there wasn't any. Already at the beginning of the game, such a blunder.
The Seer gives 8888 gold to any hero with 6 defense skill, on the first day of the game, plus you need to visit him. I got closest to this with Gelu (I got 6 defense on the first day), but no matter how hard I tried, I still didn't have enough movement points (i.e., I could still take one more step in that direction, but diagonally to reach the Seer, it just wasn't possible).
If anyone can describe this moment, I would be grateful, as I've been struggling with it for a week.

TELL ME, PLEASE!! How did BRON appear on the boat??? Immediately?

In general, choosing the right heroes is probably the key to success in offline mode. I didn't know that there were heroes with the initial spell to summon a boat; I had to go around and only reach the water on the 3rd day. :( From vbn's saves, I learned that a hero like the Dragon with one mage can be very useful ;)
The result in the top ten was very pleasing :) It was worth all the effort. But there are still many offline tricks to learn. In the next tournaments...
Gem summons the boat, but Bron boards it.
Only after these somewhat simple manipulations can the boat be summoned... Therefore, having eight heroes on the first day is not a luxury, but a means of transportation... :D
On the 1st day, I opened the hut of the soothsayer (Jelu).
If so, please provide the steps on how you managed to do it?
But at least the basics, at least the options of embarking on water and speeding up at the Griffin Conservatory's spring, should certainly have been found. For that, a solid failing grade.
The only thing I'm still pleased with is that I found a way to take Grokh on day one without the Griffin Conservatory.
For example, giving Thunder to water:eek: (and passing it around, from hand to hand, across the entire map) or deliberately structuring your walkthrough so that it ends with taking a Barbarian castle and there handing over all troops for gems.

And in general, if you have the time and desire — here's a good practice guide on walkthrough technique:
Blitz tournament — many of today's players participated in it... it will be useful to play and then compare your results with the winners' schemes provided there.
