Please credit the game in the rating for "Seasons of the Year, Spring Season 2008," as the author was unable to submit a report in this thread due to technical issues:
"Bob I. (red, Rampart, Ivor, Mephala) def Uran (blue, Tower, Ain) Outer Limits 147
I didn't realize right away that I had bought Mephala. She was sent out at the beginning as a scout. Due to lack of time, on day 6, I didn't manage to build pegasi, and consequently, I couldn't build unicorns with the Stronghold.
On week 2, I built dragons without a Castle.
I agree with invisible; there is a shortage of primary resources. I ran out of wood. Therefore, I only built the Castle on week 3 and didn't even build a city hall. But there were plenty of resources overall; I just wasn't lucky with the wood spawn.
I was one tile short from attacking one turn earlier when Ain didn't have his entire army. I was afraid of his first turn (considering spell power). In the end, it was my turn first.
Mephala 19-16-11-12, mass slow, expert tactics
4 dragons, 8 unicorns+, 23 dendroids+, 18 pegasus+, 53 elves+, 34 dwarves, 105 centaurs+
Ain 8-5-15-13, mass slow, basic air, chain +625
3 giants, 13 nagas, 15 djinn+, 26 mages, 41 golems+, 65 gargoyles, 213 gremlins+
Morale and luck dropped; all units were killed on turn 2.
Thank you for the game."
and confirmation of the report:
"I really wanted three mage heroes to appear on the first day, which is what happened, but then I wanted to level up a warrior..., who never showed up (only mages kept appearing)
In the first group, there was a level 1 hero and nagas in the Stronghold (I didn't have enough stone throughout the game).
In the second group, there were djinn, a Castle, golden bow, and lightning bolt at 230 - I wanted to go fight, but somehow I got distracted and didn't properly assemble my army or come to the opponent.
I built a chain and artifact with immunity to lightning. Again, I hesitated for two turns and couldn't break through (the first one had no target, the second one killed a scout and tried to attack the ship, but it only took damage... probably due to mines).
With a chain dealing 600 damage, I wanted to take down the opponent, almost reached him, but I was afraid that he would destroy my titans and take over my nearly empty Castle. I attacked again; with my father, the Castle definitely wouldn't be taken because of the chain (but I should have sent another mage there instead). And the opponent went to attack his own titans)))
As a result, I lost almost a week by sending my father back and forth...
And in the final battle, Mephala's tactics decided everything; otherwise, the chain would have destroyed everyone...
Thanks for the game
Respect to the opponent (hopefully we will meet again in this championship)"
