But how else do you get loot? People use it for that, specifically with characters that have high Might and Magic skills and are specially trained, and that's how they play. You can get up to around 500% Might and Magic that way.

Alan, something seems to be wrong with the Uber unit immunities in Battle.net. Each Uber unit should have three random immunities, but there, if you're lucky, one is indicated, and even then, not for all of them.
