I disagree. If the chance of an item dropping is 1%, the difference between 300 MF and 500 will be in the hundredths of a percent, so it won't make a difference.

I wouldn't say that. Necromancers and Sorcerers (except for Light Sorcerers) can accidentally kill the Moo Moo King with their spells, which will permanently close the Cow Level, so Fury and Traps are the best in this regard, and Light Sorcerers can also work in a pinch.
