Well, I wouldn't say that. The Smiter is always useful, but the Barbarian might choke on an Uber item with physical immunity.
I disagree. If the drop chance for an item is 1%, the difference between 300 Magic Find and 500 will be in the hundredths of that percentage, so it won't make any difference.
I wouldn't say that. A Necromancer and Sorcerers (except for the Light ones) can accidentally kill the Cow King with their spells, which means permanent closure of the Cow Level, so Fury and Trapsin are our best bet in this regard, and a Light Sorceress will do in a pinch.
But the Barbarian doesn't kill... he's there to pair with the Smiter and shout at him. And the Smiter will be the one doing the killing, of course.
Hmm, if we're talking about hundredths of a percent, that's already about a 10% increase in the drop chance. You just need to look at these values differently.
Yes, you can hit the Cow King, but you can clearly see on the map where his pen is, and the Necromancer will have phenomenal speed, as will the Trapsin with Decoys (because a Trapsin with just Light skills will lose in speed by a factor of 5 when clearing). And there's always a risk. The main thing is to create closures, otherwise some annoying idiot might come in and kill the Cow King.
