Posts from Technical issues and problems with WoGa.
I suggest we discuss the bugs that you encountered in WoG here, as I think there are quite a few... Here's an example from my experience, the most unsettling one. Has anyone else experienced something similar? And, please explain how this is possible...
Here's something from my experience; has anyone else encountered something similar? And, please explain how this is possible...
:smile12: This phenomenon can be explained as follows: The Negative Health Phenomenon Principle: when a creature is attacked, its number does not decrease, and, consequently, their quantity does not decrease, but increases. Implementation: 1. Place any pyramid on the map. 2. Insert this script into the events: ZVSE !?OBx/y/z; !!MA:L172/200; !!MA:P172/-1; !!MA:P85/9; !!HE-1:X4/172/13/10/8; where:172 (Nightmare) is the creature number; x, y, and z are the coordinates of your pyramid; -1 is the health level of the specified creature number. 3. Place a decent number of creatures with the number specified in the script (172 - Nightmares) near the pyramid. 4. Place Azure Golems nearby, with the maximum number (4000). It is better if there are more than 15 creatures on the map (4000 creatures each). Procedure: The hero with the monsters specified in the script must approach the object specified there. Then, look at the monster's characteristics: it will have negative health (in this script, -1). Then, attack the Azure Golems. During the battle, try to defend or wait; do not attack the monster on the Azure Golem. In this script, the Nightmare, attacked by the Azure Golem, will increase its number for each unit of damage inflicted on it (1 damage = +1 Nightmare). Since there are 4000 Azure Golems in each monster, you will earn up to 300,000 Nightmares from each such monster! Then, reload the game saved after the battles; the script loses its effect, and the Nightmare again has 110 health (as if nothing had happened), but with a multi-million number!!! Here are screenshots from this experiment::smile13:
TWELF 12: In your case, this is a game bug. When your enemy attacked 6993 dragons of level 8, the harpies, under such "stress," had their health change from 14 to -14, and as a result of this error, the harpies received +1 to their numbers for every 14 damage dealt! Do you have any more questions?
Tador, that's exactly what it was on your map... And dragons (9999*7), that is, 69993 of them. No scripts, no pyramids, nothing like that. Just an ambush on the water with a huge number of dragons. SIMPLY A GLITCH. This ambush is impossible to pass, but he managed to pass it in 3 weeks, and even returned with 2 million harpies. Then I logged in as him (thanks to autosave), sailed through, put it on autobattle, and one X creature takes them out... P.S.: It's not about the scripts or health... P.P.S.: And I know about the negative HP...
TWELF 12 I agree, it's a BUG that changed the enemy's harpies' health to a negative value (I don't know how this happened). At least I know and have explained the procedure for intentionally creating such a large number of creatures. And I told you about this health trick, so you know it too!!!
Okay, never mind, forget about that bug.
Number TWO.
Have you ever seen a castle (a Goblin Stronghold, to be precise) deal 650 HP damage on the 2nd month, 1st week, and 1st day (2.1.1.)? Difficulty: Galleon.
I was playing the campaign, which I downloaded here on Heroes World, and I attacked a castle. After the first shot, very little remained of my 140 Lizards (I had to play as the Swamp faction)...
2 TWELF 12:
Well, in Haven, with each week of maintaining the castle, the towers get stronger, and if there was a Grail (+20 attack), the hero could stand there and shoot with artillery. But I haven't encountered such a nightmare. Without a Grail, the Stronghold hit me for 200+ from the center and a little less than two hundred from the sides. Or maybe it was just a script written into this scenario. But theoretically, it's possible, so I don't think it's a bug at all.
No, it was a snipe, on a map from Shades of Darkness. And I know about the experience gained from towers, but not to that extent, right? I didn't find a Grail in the castle, and the player's hero was level 2-3.
Also, regarding the castles, I played on a map from In the Wake of Gods this time (maybe it's a script here), and the top tower dealt 2-1.5 times less damage than the side towers...
Indeed, although there is a rule that "the damage of a Castle depends on how long it has been under your control and the number of buildings constructed," this can be considered a glitch. In Wog, unlike other versions, there are plenty of bugs.
Often, when a hero reaches approximately level 35, the experience of all or almost all creatures is reset and no longer increases... This is a very annoying bug, after which it becomes almost impossible to defeat the enemy.

yeah... it's really bad =( I remember how annoyed I was when this happened... probably there's no way to bypass it.

But why immediately call it a bug? O_o maybe it's intentional?:))
I don't know, George89, I had a hero of level 47 and everything was fine... I was playing as Shiva (Castle)... The enemy was running away from 1000 Thunderbirds (each with 250 health), and from Inferno, and Necropolis, and Dungeon... :)
WoG 3.57 is installed, and there are a lot of bugs. The worst one is that after high-level archangels gain experience, when exiting a battle, they turn into first aid tents. And when the turn changes, a critical error occurs, and everything crashes! The only solution I found was to dismiss the tents :-). It's complete nonsense, and it's incredibly frustrating. In the last battle, I had to let 47 archangels go!

 :smile07:  How is that possible? I thought there's no army experience in WOG 3.57.
