I just can't download it from this site for technical reasons!:( and there's also no maps folder in version 1.5, so downloading maps is also pointless:(

The map editor is available starting from version 1.3. The folder appears only when creating a map or manually; if you don't have it, simply create it and copy the maps there.

I don't understand, where is the map editor? I got the Silver Edition, and there's nothing there! :confused: Maybe I'm not looking in the right place?

1 - I personally have the map editor in Tribes of the East.
2 - Which site did you want to download it from?
3 - Version 1.5 is already the original Heroes 5.
4 - You're wrong about the maps in Heroes 5.

I didn't really like the map editor in Heroes 5. It seems too complicated.

Firstly, the folder name should start with a capital letter: Maps. Secondly, the path to the maps should consist of English letters, for example: (D:/Games/HOMM5/Maps/).

In the START menu, go to ALL PROGRAMS - Nival Interactive - Heroes of Might and Magic 5 (+the name, depending on the installed version) - Map Editor.

I'll post it here since the topic is similar. I've noticed for the second time that my Maps folder disappears, but the game still sees the maps inside it; they can be played, and the editor can open them, but the folder itself is not visible in the file explorer. I have "Show hidden folders" enabled.
