Buta no Liver wa Kanetsu Shiro

A cute and simultaneously sad story set in an interesting, but harsh world – in one word, a fairytale in its classic definition. The budget was clearly tight, especially in the second half – the backgrounds and people in them are mostly static, and the fight scene looked like it was from a turn-based strategy game, but that's all minor – overall, I really enjoyed it.

Jujutsu Kaisen 2nd Season

I dropped it last summer, and dropped it again now – I guess it wasn't worth it. 23 episodes about guys running around the neighborhood, torturing, maiming, and killing each other while screaming and making bizarre faces. If, according to intellectuals, fans of ecchi are misogynists and perverts, then what does that make those who enjoy something like this?...

The only good thing is the new character (the protagonist's friend's father) is cool... And that's it. The older girl and the blue-haired girl (who I more or less liked from the first season) weren't even shown properly, but maybe that's for the best.

Lodoss-tou Senki: Eiyuu Kishi Den

I watched another anime from this setting twelve years ago, and I still remember the circumstances: I had a one-night stand and started watching it somewhere near dawn, lying in bed with my laptop. Back then, I couldn't have known this, but now that time is remembered with particular warmth, because things were much better in my life then, both on a personal level and on a larger scale. As for the series itself, I liked it, and I saw one of my favorite couples in it – the dark knight and the dark elf. They seemed like a beautiful couple to me, and now I think that it's not something that happens often for me – more often, my level of sympathy for the characters varies greatly, but here both of them were equally appealing.


The second time I interacted with this setting was when I played this game – I briefly mentioned it in the relevant thread.

As for the anime I just watched, it's a bit boring, mainly because it's stretched out over twenty-seven episodes, while some individual elements of the story are shown too hastily and without details. But despite this, it's still a pleasant, classic story about a young, aspiring knight who starts from almost nothing, having only youthful courage in his arsenal, and gradually gains experience, is inspired by his older idols, makes loyal friends, overcomes various difficulties, finds his love, becomes a full-fledged person with a capital letter, and finally saves the damsel in distress, and with her, their small world – the island – from an unenviable future.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but I like it, and for me personally, it looks especially good in contrast to the previous title and many other creations of modernity.

Если бы Айяно и Лорд учились в одной школе. Ну... Не совсем, но похоже. Очень понравилось, жаль что адаптирована была лишь малая часть от всего сюжета.

Odd Taxi

Не хотел смотреть из-за рисовки, но всё же сделал это и оказалось лучше, чем я думал. Прикольный и хорошо продуманный сюжетик в котором насчитал всего два рояля. 

Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu

Помню мне понравился дизайн героини, но решил что будет очередная коми/шикимори/хоримия и не стал смотреть. Потом кое-кто напомнил о существовании этого титула и всё-таки посмотрел... Довольно-таки миленько и местами трогательно.

Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e 3rd Season

I watched it more out of obligation than anything else. The third season is here, and I still haven't memorized the names of most of the characters. In the original, all these class-based intrigues must be very engaging to read, but in the adaptation, it feels very chaotic. It's not helped by the fact that most of the interesting girls are not even secondary characters, but tertiary ones.


Dosanko Gal wa Namara Menkoi

Heartwarming and almost not stuffy at all.


Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete

It gives hope that Japan is not yet lost.

Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha

Once upon a time, there was an adventurer who went on a journey and fell victim to a dangerous monster, but his life's journey did not end there - he rose as an undead and continued it in the hope of regaining his humanity and fulfilling his childhood dream. It's a bit like the story of Klin. In general, I didn't expect anything, but it turned out to be quite interesting, and the fact that there is such a beautiful and caring researcher around him is a big plus.

Mato Seihei no Slave

One of those rare cases where not only is every girl cool, but you can also pause an episode with the main one and every frame will be a feast for the eyes.
Main girl > twintail > GG's sister > the rest. The snake antagonist is also very cute, but so far there hasn't been enough of her.


Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari

The protagonist needs to marry five princesses and become the lord of the rings to save the world... It smells like a plot for an expedition. It's mediocre, but watchable.
Cat > Dragon girl > "Dwarf" > Elf girl > Human girl, + the old man is funny.

Ore dake Level Up na Ken

The screenshot above is the only one I took while watching, which, given my tendency to screenshot all sorts of funny moments, says a lot.
One episode hasn't been released yet, but the essence of it is unlikely to change - the guy is playing a solo MMORPG IRL, leveling up, unlocking abilities, finding equipment, etc. Here, I can only praise the premise, it is implemented brilliantly.

Majo to Yajuu

Two episodes haven't been released either, and it's unknown when they will be released. According to genre conventions, I expected a boring mess, but it turned out to be not bad.

Sousou no Frieren

Ну, это просто бомба, в хорошем смысле слова — 28 эпизодов смотрятся с сильным нежеланием отрываться от экрана, что в этом возрасте и серьезным дефицитом внимания встречается в крайней степени редко. 
В папке со скриншотами у меня аж 166 файлов и это легко объяснить тем, что там где это имеет смысл, я придаю большое значение пейзажам, архитектуре и некоторым другим мелочам (например, интерьеру и еде), и здесь этим элементом повествования можно было насладиться в полной мере: насколько же красивые попадались раз за разом места, и настолько же хотелось в них самому побывать. Я как будто бы сам путешествовал с главными героями и наслаждался теми же великолепными видами, что и они. 





Сюжет не сказать, что "отвал башки", в том плане что чего-то интригующего или полного неожиданных поворотов нет от слова совсем, но в то же время это и не эпизодический сериал; по сути, это всего-лишь история путешествия из точки А в точку Б, но как же она прекрасна в своей приземленности, простоте, как преисполнена чувственностью. Как трогательно изображены человеческие отношения, течение времени и преемственность жизни — как передается опыт поколений и каким образом этот процесс выглядит глазами эльфийки, проживающей куда больший век, чем человек. В этой истории описываются как великие дела, так и малые, но все они показаны без пафоса, очень человечно. 


Более десятка интересных персонажей, "людьми" в полном значении этого слова ощущаются не только лишь главные герои, но и те, кого они на своем пути встречают. Это люди со своими уникальными жизненными обстоятельствами, связями и надеждами, каждый из которых оставляет о себе сильное впечатление — кто-то большее, кто-то меньшее, но этого у них не отнимешь.

Чуть иными словами — 10/10, не видел ничего подобного с 2011-го года и безумно рад тому, что есть ещё то, что способно меня удивить и порадовать. Надеюсь, что история будет доведена до конца и в дальнейшем не испорчена.

I have high hopes for the next major story arc, as I really enjoyed it in the manga (although I enjoyed them all, but this one stood out ).

Kusuriya no Hitorigoto

I watched the first episode back in mid-January, but at that time, the season wasn't fully released, so I put it aside for later, along with "Frieren." Recently, I decided to finish it – first, a couple of episodes, and today, I watched the rest in one go. Considering this, I think it's easy to understand that I really enjoyed it.

The moral of the story is that if you have a strong character and a craft you're good at, you'll succeed anywhere. And if you have a favorite thing in life, you'll also have clarity of mind and spirit.




The setting is beautiful and full of action.
The plot is a mix of everyday life and professional activities, full of intrigue, exciting events, and interesting encounters. It's sometimes sad, sometimes touching, but most importantly, it's relatable.
The characters are diverse: a slightly melancholic but energetic heroine; a hero who will charm the female viewers and make male viewers want to be like him; workers of all kinds with their own personalities and life circumstances; and the delightful courtesans – charming, well-groomed, and educated, so you can understand why men spend their annual salary on them; they are nothing like the streetwalkers standing on the street or on the other side of a webcam. The stories of individual characters also evoke a variety of emotions.

I also liked that it looks quite realistic without being overly idealized, and that it shows that even a high position in the palace, let alone other areas of life, is not without its difficulties and drawbacks, including a more significant limitation of freedom than one might think (but if there are cabinets full of herbal remedies, then that's okay, right?).

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

First third: cool.
Second third: incredibly tiring for the viewer, brilliant from a directing perspective.
Third third: cool.
Ending: magnificent.
Kyoto Animation deserves credit; in terms of the expressiveness of the characters, the imagery, the camera work, and the overall quality of the drawing and animation, it was great... The plot ranges from sleep-inducing to extremely interesting, charming, or emotional. The characters themselves are wonderful; each has their place and there's something to love about them.

Vinland Saga Season 2

It might not seem particularly noteworthy, but 20+ episodes were watched quite easily, so I'm giving it my seal of approval.

Stratos 4

Крутая работа - подниматься в стратосферу и сбивать ракетами угрожающие Земле кометы. И интересно и престижно, твой труд полезен каждому!
Любопытный сюжетик, прикольные персонажики, стильный фансервис, всё как надо короче.

Dungeon Meshi

Another gem of an anime that makes you laugh, cringe, and experience all those emotions simultaneously. I've read the manga a long time ago, so I was eagerly anticipating the chance to see it animated, and I approached it without any skepticism.

Well, maybe with a little bit of the same skepticism the manga artist had

And indeed, reputable anime studios don't allow for deviations or cuts, and they had excellent source material, so there's no reason to be surprised by the result...
What is the anime about? Well, it's about delicious and heartwarming food. A group of explorers does what all explorers do: they stuff their bellies with all the loot they find, hoping for buffs...

No.

The characters are wonderful, constantly balancing between comical and awesome, as the group is colorful and talented. Just like with Freiren before, the world-building is top-notch, so overall, it's another easy 10/10, with a slight sadness that we'll have to wait for the continuation.

Unnamed Memory

From an objective point of view, there were many problems with the narrative and pacing, but I liked the main couple so much that the overall impression remained very positive. And the lady is lovely, and the gentleman is quite the charmer.

Lv2 kara Cheat datta Motoyuusha Kouho no Mattari Isekai Life

Another piece of garbage about abilities and levels, but the main female character is top-notch – she turns mediocrity into a delicious treat.


Too bad Ment dropped it... The more the story expands, the cooler each episode becomes, leading up to new events.

Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi
It's watchable... But not necessarily a must-watch.
