Posts from MCCS - new Multiplayer content
P.s. Regarding NHF. There are some heroes in it whose special abilities trigger through TOUCH triggers on creatures/heroes. I have an idea to combine them by removing the triggers and converting such abilities into combat mode, which would eliminate all restrictions regarding the triggering of these abilities (there seem to be some issues with this regarding portals/garrisons/caravans). But in battle, this might look a bit awkward visually, and there might also be minor inaccuracies (especially in battles against heroes from the Academy). Should we do it this way? Maybe someone has some thoughts on this?
Interesting, can you tell me which heroes, besides Hafad, you are talking about? And in which version of the NHF mod are they, the standard or the extended one?
The client closes as soon as I click on the map handler, version 0.38.
I installed everything as shown in the video tutorial.
After running the GSC map editor, only the host gets to choose from three starting artifacts.
And the opponent's game crashes when another player hires a Hero in the tavern. (This also happens after patching the GSC maps).
I've tried everything – even copied the GSC maps to another computer and patched them there.
First of all, the changes will affect the launcher: fixing problems with the patcher and adding new functions to it; improving scanning (it will become much faster, and adding new mods/changing old ones will no longer require a full scan). It will be possible to enable/disable any of the installed mods.
The interface for disabling creatures/heroes will be improved and supplemented with all the necessary information about each hero/creature (taking into account the installed mods).
Similarly, the ability to enable/disable the generation of individual artifacts will be added.
For now, there are no plans for a large amount of new game content; the focus will be mainly on fixing problems with the current version.
NAF will continue to be developed; the plan is to add new sets for the remaining races (currently, there are new sets only for dwarves and mages).
There will probably be new upgradeable artifacts.
Several new NHF heroes will be added, mainly with special abilities based on the new features added to the patcher.
It is quite difficult to name a specific release date; about 60% of the above is ready, so I will risk saying the first half of July.
The mod is currently back in active development (more precisely, being reworked). Given the upcoming amount of changes, the next version will not be 0.4, but most likely directly 1.0.

Hello! I am very interested to know if, at this stage of the mod, it is finally possible to play on multiplayer maps with all the new artifacts? I have Ewa 2.7.1, is it compatible?
I tried to install them, and it turned out that only about 8 new artifacts out of more than 50 appear on the map.
Hello! I figured out what was wrong with my previous message... and there are lags due to messages from other players.
But what's with this glitch now? I'm playing through MCCS, a regular Heroes version 3.1 with only the NCF Special and Gemnod mods... in the main menu, everything runs normally.
On the simple H5 EXE and NCF EXE, everything also runs normally, but the NHF and NAF mods obviously don't work anymore.
But on the map, in battles, in the castle overview, everywhere in the game, there's an annoying lag, especially noticeable on large maps; the picture is just choppy... it's terrible.
It's impossible to play, only on the smallest maps. I didn't notice this lag at first, but how can I fix it?((( It's a nightmare.
Hello, I've encountered a problem: the game crashes with huge maps or large games!!!
P.S. And when will the new version of the mod be released?)))
+1
After starting such a map, everything seems normal at first, but then day by day the lags become stronger, and approximately in the middle, after 2-4 weeks, during one of the bots' turns, the game consistently crashes (my hardware is above average, and the game doesn't even consume much of it, even before the crash).
I installed it on a completely clean version from Steam, and I get this error (and several other similar ones). Could the path be incorrect? In my case, it was set to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Heroes of Might and Magic 5 Tribes of the East
