I played as Fortress. It's a very decent faction visually, with a nice city design, but the models are very awkward! Really. The special effects mostly don't match each other at all. It's a pity to look at the shamans. But the gnolls and the 7th-level unit look very good! I noticed that the lizardmen from RTF borrowed a lot from this faction.

The gorgons are also good, but the most absurd thing is: four large creatures! The entire Fortress army cannot be deployed on the battlefield!

I like the idea of the death animation for the Oblivion dinosaurs and the overall set of creatures. However, Nexus is something strange. Trees, creatures, spirits, and aliens in one race? Hmm. I didn't quite understand the concept, and the faction isn't particularly strong. Now I'll play as the ice demons. They look very good.

Wintrial is a pretty good faction, but generally, they should have Succubi at level 5, not three random units. And here, as well as in EWA, these units have been removed. That's strange.

I noticed an error in the Sanctuary mod: Kirins are purchased for gold and crystals, while the city's warehouse generates gems.

Has anyone heard of the Polish project Księga Czarodzieja (Book of the Sorcerer)? Based on the description, it's a massive fan-made add-on with new factions, heroes, and campaigns. Work seems to be ongoing, and they promise as many as 10 campaigns for the final version. Link to the latest version.

The mod is similar to Serce Ashan, is it the same developer by any chance? The mod doesn't change the standard, everything is at the level of "put it on the map so it's there," but there aren't many maps yet. There don't seem to be any campaigns, although I haven't checked. It's for a specific taste, very unique even for a Polish mod.

I've seen the screenshots, but I don't have the mod itself – I'll download it now and take a look. Based on the screenshots, it doesn't look bad. Regarding the Necrodrake, I had similar ideas (I was thinking of attaching bones to the Twilight Dragon – that bent, "Z"-shaped lizard was getting on my nerves), so I'm really looking forward to it.
