Sacred Haven of Debauchery Auto-translated

Gantz

Um, there's absolutely nothing compelling about it, neither the "brutal galactic" theme, sorry, the brutal society, nor the drama, there's just nothing there. Because ideologically, it remains stuck in the same old tropes as Samurai X and the like, only it looks even more absurd because it pretends to be a mature seinen. It's like this: they scatter pieces of fresh meat around the area, and people proclaim, "Oh, cool, let's laugh, it's not like we're the ones who'll suffer, lol." It's a stupid caricature; the behavior of the people, that is, mostly the clearly expressed "rednecks" who end up in Gantz, doesn't make any sense. The main characters and their friends fight, they overcome obstacles, they die, they shout things like "I'm not afraid of you/I'll defeat you!!1," they overcome obstacles again, they seem to experience strong emotions, but neither they nor anyone else there evokes even a drop of sympathy. At least the trashy elven song has an epic scene with a dog drinking, which might touch some feelings; here, I can't remember anything. If you want to watch some mindless action without any unnecessary baggage, then you can watch Gantz; otherwise, it's better to just skip it.

but even gore and guts are unlikely to affect such a person, unless he's some kind of sadist.

But a punch in the face will have an impact, if you know what I mean.

I liked the scene in Code Geass where they unleashed a dragon on a whole stadium of people. I can't think of anything else interesting on the topic right now.

Oh, I think something else scattered things around here.

And it's better to cry over things like Clannad, Ef, and similar titles.

Clannad

so what if NAGISA DIES?

It's better to cry over things like Clannad, Ef, and similar anime.

As for me, it's Legend of the Galactic Heroes, some moments in City Hunter, and now, strangely enough, parts of Fairy Tail.
I haven't watched any of the listed anime, by the way.

Siv, why are you treating him like that?

For me, it's Legend of the Galactic Heroes, some moments in City Hunter, and now, strangely enough, in Fairy Tail.

Hmm, I haven't seen that. I'm going to download Galactic Heroes next week; I saw a nice 28 GB release, and it's been on my list for a while. I read Fairy Tail as a manga, but I stopped around volume twelve.
Amko, and what about the disappointing ending >_>

Is this not the finale, or did you just miss something? But what else is there to >cry about?

>cry?

Over the memories of "Nagisa Dice," and also "Ushio Dice," well, that's probably enough. But even that is quite sufficient.

It didn't impress me :| I'm a heartless creature ;_;

You are the illegitimate son of Chuck Norris.

Why are you so quick to call it 'illegitimate'? Maybe everything is perfectly legal.
Okay, you say it doesn't evoke any feelings, but there are people who enjoy it. The question is: what do they like about it? Is it the beautiful scenery? I explained it by saying that these people have nowhere to release their adrenaline, so they indulge in it.
And what about that elven song?
