Posts from Mafia 112. Pirates of the HW Sea
Lol. Good map, by the way, perfect for gaining experience. There haven't been that many twisted maps like this yet. So, 13 Blood Dragons is a fair price...

He's just evil.
I've been looking at your maps. They are quite paradoxical: judging by the posts, they seem easy and not too different from role-playing, but judging by the header, description, and other elements, they are extremely hardcore, causing a heart-stopping scream of "difficult, difficult, difficult!"

Yes, in general, they are typical role-playing games. It's more difficult for the GM. It's not necessary to remember everything that's in the header. It might be needed during the game, but these pieces of knowledge don't significantly affect anything.
But I have never, ever eaten unfamiliar fruits or had friendly duels.
fought with a wardrobe
Does this effect:
Kills the player, ignores all types of protection.ignore protection against Norrington? And what about healing?
2. If a drunken monkey uses protection against Norrington, does it save the target, but the monkey itself doesn't die? Is that correct?
3. If, hypothetically, Beckett kills Jack, and Jack sends everyone to Beckett, how will Beckett feel?

4. What will happen if the monkey stays with the Kraken?

Oh, these HVM tastes...
You haven't participated in festivals yet...
1. Is "protection from Will Turner" and protection from Norrington considered "the same type of action"?
Does this thing ignore protection from Norrington? What about healing?

Oh, these awful tastes...
2. Yes.
3. Normal. Actions directed at oneself are unsuccessful. This is stated in the rules.
4. The Kraken wins.

Buba (Bubballeho M'beke Akai Haato Kulumbek)
Date of birth: 11/24/1xxx, 22 years old
Occupation: deckhand on a merchant ship
Event: witnessed the governor's daughter, wearing a thin blouse, being splashed with water
Hobby: voodoo magic
Interesting fact: despite having a four-digit IQ, he only pretends to be simple-minded because society expects him to be
Passive. (Restless). Can perform 2 different actions during the night.
Special Ability. (Drunken Monkey). If a bottle of rum was stolen the previous night, it can perform any special ability of the Black Pearl team from the game, except for Jack Sparrow's special ability.
If a monkey stole rum, can it use, for example, a block and healing on the next night?

Since there are newcomers in the game, I will explain the game in more detail.
About the setting.
The game features roles, the descriptions of which are presented in the first post of the topic.
A role can have passives (an effect that constantly works throughout the game), ND (night action - a standard action that a role can perform during the night phase of the game), DD (day action - a standard action that a role can perform during the day phase of the game), UD (ultimate action, ult - an action that a role can perform instead of a standard action during the night phase of the game, but only once per game).
The first side is the Town (Black Pearl team), the players do not know each other. The goal to win: get rid of all members of the Mafia (Flying Dutchman + East India Company) and the Serial Killer (Kraken).
The second side is the Mafia (Flying Dutchman + East India Company). The players know each other and can communicate during the game in a separate chat (Telegram, Skype, or another messenger). The goal to win: get rid of the Town players and the Serial Killer.
The third side is the Serial Killer (Kraken). A lone wolf. The goal to win: get rid of all Town and Mafia players and stay alive.
The fourth side is the Neutral player (Monkey Jack). A lone wolf. The goal to win: get rid of the Serial Killer and stay alive.
All players, except the Mafia, must send their actions to me in private messages on the forum or another messenger during the night phase of the game (or in advance) each night (and each day, if there is a DD).
About communication in the topic.
Players can only post messages in the topic during the day phase of the game, and only if they have not been eliminated from the game. It is not allowed to reveal your role (including falsely claiming a role) or hint at it in any way.
Examples of messages that can result in a modkill:
I'm actually a protector, ale!
If you execute me, who will heal you at night?
It is also not allowed to reveal information that was obtained through night actions (including false information).
Examples of messages that can result in a modkill:
He definitely can't be Mafia because he's not a pirate.
He's probably the Serial Killer because he's sitting without items.
Threats, personal attacks, and attempts to argue are not allowed.
Examples of messages that can result in a modkill:
If you vote for me, I'll find you and beat you up!
I bet a million Indian rupees that I'm not Mafia.
This isn't a Town, it's a gathering of idiots!
About voting.
Voting to execute a player is held during the day phase of the game. To have your vote counted, you need to write Execute + the player's nickname and highlight it in bold.
Example of a vote to execute a player:
Execute Lizard
You can cancel your vote in the same way, but use "Don't execute" instead of "Execute".
To execute a player, the number of votes for him must be more than half the number of players who have not been eliminated.
Unlike classic Mafia, players are not required to nominate someone for execution. It is allowed to vote NNV (no one to hang).
If one of the players grossly violates the rules and receives a modkill, the day automatically ends, and other players are not executed.
About the newspaper and the order of ND.
At the beginning of each day phase, a newspaper is published, which describes the night events in a literary form. A link to each newspaper will be placed in post #1 of the topic.
All actions from players received during the night are ordered according to the order of ND, indicated in post #1 of the topic. Depending on the actions of other players, the player's action may be successful or unsuccessful.
Example 1:
Player X blocks player Y. Player Y goes to protect player Z.
In this case, the protection will not work because player Y is in a block at the time of performing his action.
Example 2:
Player X blocks player Y. Player Y uses the action "Protect me!" on player Z.
In this case, both actions will be successful because Player Y performs his action before being blocked.
Successful actions can be displayed in the newspaper in three different ways: Displayed (the newspaper will contain a description of the action with the player's nickname, on whom this action was applied), Displayed as a fact (the newspaper will contain a description of the action without indicating the player's nickname, on whom this action was applied), Not displayed (the newspaper will not mention this action). How exactly the action will be displayed can be seen in the order of ND, indicated in post #1 of the topic.
The description of actions is given in a literary form. Examples of descriptions:
Player X found himself locked in one of the cabins, from which he could not escape.
*possible description of the Block action
Player Y constantly felt confident, sensing the presence of his bodyguard nearby.
*possible description of the Guard action
About clues.
If a successful murder was committed, a clue will be given to the murderer in the newspaper.
The clue is a chain of 4-6 links.
The initial link is some piece of information from the killer's questionnaire, compiled before the start of the game (for example, the character's date of birth).
The remaining links: Wikipedia pages that contain links to the previous and next link in the chain.
In the newspaper, the last link in the chain is given as a clue. If the players can correctly guess the entire chain from the last link, they can thus identify the killer.
Example of a clue:
Nikola Tesla > Tesla (American company) > Elon Musk (its CEO) > Pretoria (born there) > asteroid (790) Pretoria
In rare cases, clues may be given in the form of riddles/puzzles.
And don't forget that this is a game, and you should enjoy it!
