Morning
- I see you are a knowledgeable person in our field, aren't you? - He gives him anywhere from a few seconds to fifty-five minutes to observe the etiquette and finally introduce himself in return, then nods. - That's good, in that case, I won't have to spend much time on explanations. I know that you have been to the "Phantom" and analyzed its... "history." I mean that unfortunate woman standing by the counter, and the one lying on the pillow behind the glass. It's not that I'm a fan of burdening myself with other people's problems, but this particular situation has caught my attention. I would like to do what I can to restore the natural balance in their situation, but it is all so mysterious that at the moment I cannot yet formulate any idea into a tangible form. Would you share your own observations and guesses? Two heads are definitely better than one here.
Tentacle names his first and last name. - Ah, this Phantom story. I have had an idea for resolving it for a long time, but Mr. Bors is not the right person to put it into action, so your appearance on the horizon of events is very timely. But before that, may I ask you for one favor in return?

— Believe me, everyone needs protection! All the best, and take care. I will definitely come back for the books.

/ You've really gotten into the role of the wizard king... /
/ Apparently, you wanted to steal even more corpses there to gain 5k HP. /
/It's just that everyone is already dead there, and in the dungeon, you'll have to kill them yourself... unless the princess helps, of course.

Dying and then ending up as a slave to pirates is something you have to earn!

I'm not sure yet if I should end the day right now (I think I'll visit a couple more places and check them out), but eventually, when Ayko is found, Keliandra finds her in Carneol.

Carneol's first task... Find some cultist who killed a merchant.
"Apostle of Wrath, huh? What a pompous nickname. It would suit a burly bodyguard, I should remember that."
The others had already scattered to question the shopkeepers, but Garret wasn't in a hurry. He was specifically assigned to "patrol the area," which sounded more like "go for a walk, do whatever you want, just don't get in the way." Not bad. He didn't see much point in just wandering around Emerald Alley; others were already doing that during breaks between interrogating merchants. Visiting a couple of establishments and listening to what people were talking about over a cup of tea? Sure, but he didn't have the money for that. But wandering around where, at first glance, there seemed to be nothing to do could theoretically be useful. Or not, but he didn't have any other ideas.

Garret sets off to wander through the residential areas in search of something interesting, listening as much as possible to what people are gossiping about in the streets.

-- Most likely not, -- the log shows, -- just tabloid rumors about some similar case among the powerful, or so I was told. Now we need to find someone with available ODs to study it, so that we can probably be disappointed again 😒

Looking around, Beata realizes she is in a clean, but small room. Lying on the bed, she sees that her right arm is attached to the wall with a chain, and her left arm is missing altogether; only a bandaged shoulder indicates that it was once there.
Ah, damn. So, it was all just a dream...
Well, that's too bad. I was hoping to get a cool prosthetic and become a badass cyborg. Just detach the arm!
Just kidding, if that wasn't clear.

- Oh my... Where am I?
Beata tugs at the chain and checks her inventory.
А, вот почему.

— Oh, that’s a shame. Let’s see what others find. By the way, how is Beata doing? Is she alright? — Kelian dra suddenly asked cheerfully.
-- When I returned, she was already gone, Miss Kelian dra, and I don’t know how to travel through time, teleport, or monitor my companions through a crystal ball to say more. I think Miss Beata won’t take unnecessary risks, as I advised her to...
